If I had to choose between a 90 minute event and a cutscene, I’d pick the cutscene. If bungie actually advertised the time that things would actually start happening (the projectiles in the sky), I would’ve been more lenient.

I had nothing else to do. Event was cool. Hype af. Cutscenes don't give that hype. I'm still thinking about the event rn
I had nothing else to do. Event was cool. Hype af. I'm still thinking about the event rn
We noticed. This is obviously the greatest thing that's ever happened to you in your entire life. Mark it on your calendar since this is your high point. It's all downhill from here. This was so great to you that nothing can top it and now you're doomed to a life of disappointment, measuring life to this great moment that can never be topped :(
-
Yeah I never said that LOL. However it was the first live event I have ever experienced, so it was lit
-
I’m glad that you enjoyed the whole thing. I just can’t help but feel that I wasted an hour of time I’ll never get back
-
It would've been hella cool to see the warsats/valkyrie things to move in real time, having the event be 10min, but I'm not sure the game can handle that rn, and it would've been over sooo fast
-
A half hour would’ve been acceptable. But bungie definitely could’ve said the event starts at 10:40 pst and I probably wouldn’t have complained. My real problem with it is that bungie said “be there at 10am” so I showed up 15 minutes early in case there was a queue. But to have absolutely nothing happen for 40 minutes after the scheduled time? Pretty damn annoying.

It should’ve been 40 minutes. 20-30 to get stragglers in and the rest for the action.

Yeah, we waited for a while, it bothered us quite a bit at first but then we just accepted it. The end was well worth the wait. Steam had a timer for the event, but I've been told xbox and ps didn't.
-
See I disagree. I don’t think it was worth that long of a wait. Considering I could’ve just had a livestream on my phone while doing something else
-
I was over-exaggerating a bit. Obv the wait wasn't great, but the ending made me feel like it wasn't that bad.

While it was exploding and the debris was flying I thought “wow, that’s cool” but after the dust cleared and I got my emblem. I couldn’t help but feel apathetic about it since the time waiting was so much more than the actual event.
