So just to clarify... Even though I spent hundreds of hours investing into the season, because the event occurred in the middle of the night when I was asleep, I don't even get to see the climactic end to the season and just have to watch it on YouTube? What about all the people who couldn't make it in that small window you gave because of work or other commitments? You've completely disregarded them and given them an all round worse experience.

4 AntwortenNo matter what time or day they chose PEOPLE WOULD MISS IT. What time works for you, someone in a different time zone is sleeping. When you are at work, someone is free. When you are asleep, some people would also miss it cause of School. No one should be crying that they couldn't be on for the event cause no matter when it was held, a big portion of players could not attend.

1 AntwortenIt's Bungie so they chose the cheapest, laziest most half assed way to do it that they possibly could. Literally almost any other way you can think of on how to do this event would have been better. It 100% should have been a cutscene and it 100% should have had a little quest tied to it. Something, anything. Like have us go to Ana then have us go to the Rasputin mainframe with her to have a fast chat with him and then initiate the launch of all the warsats.

Damn those timezones 😂

The irony is that this was the first Sunday I didn't play Destiny much on the basis that "not enough time to achieve much before the season reset on Tuesday". So did something happen then ??

6 AntwortenShould have set an alarm if you didn't want to watch on YouTube.
-
Dude be happy. I would have rather been sleeping.

Submit to the tyranny of FOMO.

Agree, the communication could have happened on Friday to give people all over time to either be there or not. Unfortunately it was not, I happend to be on when the in game message appeared and checked twitter and it was all over there. It took 90 minutes total and there were/are complaints about that.

Yeah, that's it! I feel you! Some years ago U2 gave a live concert in my country and despite being their fan since 1982, despite having all their CD's, DVD's, memorabilia and many more stuff, despite spending a lot of money in all their previous shows, I couldn't go to that concert. I guess they also completely disregarded me and everyone else that wasn't able to go to the show. And I didn't had the luxury of seeing the concert on Youtube the next day. /s

1 AntwortenThat’s what you get for being a destiny fan 😂😂😂
-
1 AntwortenYou didn't miss anything; it was garbage.
-
1 AntwortenThats the point of a "LIVE" event.

To be honest, you're lucky to have missed the disappointment. It was mostly just standing around.
-
1 AntwortenIt’s reset time. Suck it up.
-
3 AntwortenThat's kinda how "live" events work.
-
1 AntwortenYeah as cool as the end was, waking up real early was a pain in the ass, and especially for worse timezones like 3am starts and workers it's a swift kick to the groin to not be able to see the story of three years of storytelling unfold because of something so small

Yeah, that should have been available all day and it shouldn't have taken and hour and a half to do. Honestly 10 min would have been fine and even that is a bit too long. Not to mention that fact that THIS DAY, it the only day we actually get a good look at the damn thing? They couldn't have made it more visible a few days ago, you know, to make it scarier? This game is one of those games you keep hoping they will get it right and they usually don't.
