This would seem pretty logical, Trials is end game content due to it's light level enabled and Comp is supposed to be competitive so why not make sure the player has skin in the game. Having these game modes under Free just invites hackers and cheats to ruin it for everyone else. Sure there are streamers that can beat some of these folks but that's not the player base that has supported this game throughout it's history. We're the ones getting shafted during PvP by those that haven't put a cent into the game or Bungie. I love the game, beautiful and good story but when I'm chasing something in the game I shouldn't have to deal with all those out there that, well I don't get it, why cheat in a video game where you get no gain anywhere unless you're one of those that has people pay you to carry them.
Also for Survival Freelance: I should never start a match 2 on 3. If the match hasn't started and someone dropped out soon enough that they aren't even in the opening cinematic, kick everyone back to orbit. We're not fireteams, we didn't have a teammate go to orbit to cause this in a team format, it's Freelance, this should be a given

Trials fine. Comp no lol

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von lIvAnTlxxxvDsIl: 6/5/2020 8:22:23 AMdon't think it's a good idea. U'll get the same result or getting it too expensive and think pvp is end game content is wrong.

Move the game behind a paywall. You know, meaning you have to pay for it...

Good thing you’re not in charge

End game content should be behind a paywall. It would also serve as a pretty large deterrent to anyone that violates bungie a TOS. If you did and got banned you would have to pony up to play in this level of content again. I think an hours requirement should be in place also. The devs owe more to its core player base than they do the base showing up Friday thru reset. No, showing up for one part of the game is not being it’s core base. With all the account recoveries, charging for carries, and down right hacking and cheating bungie should have stepped in and protected its player base from this type of stuff a long time ago.

Trials, don't care. Comp, Haha no. Good point made about freelance matches starting 3v2. That is all.
-
Trials should have a paywall because of all the cheating but anything that drops the player population in comp is probably a bad idea. It would just lead to more of the 2v3s and other bad outcomes.

3 AntwortenGlory ranks are tied to many weapon quests. Putting it behind a paywall is scummy.

Trials🤔👍👍👍 Comp🤔👎👎👎

Absolutely stupid idea.

2 AntwortenOnly on pc.

It was. I payed for this game and all its dlc. I'm not paying to participate in stuff I payed for already. This is a terrible idea and a slap in the face to us long time players. It would be scummy for bungie to divide players like this.
-
2 AntwortenTrials should be behind a pay. Oh wait it already is with all these account recoveries going on.
-
If Bungie was to make Trials through a paywall system a lot of people would probably be very unhappy, especially if you've already paid for it in D1.

I remember an idea about having to play so many hours before having access to trials. Most players already would have done this but it prevents new accounts from hopping in (which if you're new Trials isn't where you should start anyways). Comp could be the same way, but I think it would work for Trials quite well.

2 AntwortenTrials? Yes. Comp? I'm not sure.
