Special Ammo Plasma Hand Cannon
So i know we have Eriana's Vow and dont get me wrong i love the weapon, but it would be neat to have a plamsa hand cannon with a charge time to fire.
Imagine for a sec an arc plasma hand cannon with a 600-700ish charge time and it fires a super energized plasma round. It would easily peirce through shields and multiple enemies, along with having the dragon fly trait.
What would make this gun unique is that you dont have to reload it (doesnt have a reload animation). It would be able to shoot up to 7 plasma discharges of energy (7 rounds). When stowing the weapon it will automatically recharge (reload) itself, including when you pick up special ammo.
Another perk to make this gun interesting is that the higher the enemy is tier wise, the bigger the dragonfly explosion. Small red bar enemies produce small explosions. Majors and minors will cause bigger blasts. Finally bosses/mini bosses create a large explosion enough to take out several majors or minors within a certain radius.
Edit: another idea I had is that even though the gun isnt able to reload what if you could press and hold the reload button and rather than performing a reload animation the weapon instead overcharges itself (Consuming 2-3 charges). However, by doing this the weapon will fire a much powerful plasma round but need a cool down period and must be stowed (sounds like that should be a trait for it's catalysts).

So let’s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta’aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defences, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

5 AntwortenI'd like more unique weapons like this. I've always wanted a Bow that takes special ammo for example and shoots some kind of energy bolt. You wouldn't even need to stow another arrow. Just pull the string and let go or something.

4 AntwortenSo a loaded question that always procs on kills but functions like icebreaker in that it never needs ammo sounds like fun for pve but sadly it would break the pvp ammo economy I'm pretty sure its why they never brought back ice breaker yet.

1 AntwortenIt's a cool idea, but it's too stacked with benefits. Infinite ammo, self-reloading, shield piercing, enemy piercing, causes explosions on precision kills, and makes bigger explosions when killing majors... This defeats the purpose of so many other weapons.
