Should I lvl up now or wait Fall expansion?
Didnt play last season and just came back to play a bit. Currently 970. Not sure whether to invest the time to lvl up this season and next one or wait for the expansion. I remember before that september updates tend to make old armor obselete (blue drops higher than current gear) and people start to lvl up from even grounds.
Or is it different this time around?

If you enjoy playing the seasonal content, then play. If you don't....don't. The level cap is going up by such TINY amounts each season that you wouldn't be behind the 8-ball in the Fall if you skipped out on the Summer season. But Bungie tends to make Summers one of their better seasons. We've already likely had the worst season (Worthy) of all the seaons planned for the year.
