Now I know this sounds dumb but hear me out. What if you could pick some of your favorite pieces of gear to take with you. Like your favorite exotic armor piece, your favorite exotic weapon, along with some legendaries that are going to get sunset. This would make it to where it still sucks, but at least you keep something of what you had to grind for. You’ll know you’re going into the next season at your strongest, or your most fashionable, or you could choose not to do it at all.
