They’ve told us that they’re taking our guns away and retiring them constantly every couple seasons. This basically makes grinding for the right role completely redundant. Instead they should add a perk pool for mods on weapons and add 3 slots. One for a mag perk one for your first perk and one for your 3rd. Rng can take care of your frame masterwork and sight. Then there will be no need to grind out god rolls. Just get the weapon with the right sight and masterwork then you can slap on and change perks whenever you want and you’re good to go for a couple seasons before you need to replace it. This solution lets you sunset but at least the players won’t be feeling cheated. This is progression at least we’d be moving in a forward direction instead of having to re grind for the same guns with random rolls we already have just because it’s a higher light.

1 AntwortenGood post. Posted something similar. Sad that there are so many good ideas and Bungie just doesn't seem to listen to the broader community.

1 AntwortenI can't see them doing that as they have made comments about how they can't change armour to have access to all mods I'm guessing the same draw backs would applie here. For me personally they could do 1 or 2 things rather than sun setting our gear first one would be to only allow us to upgrade "older" weapons to the soft cap of every season so there would be a 10-20 light difference. The second option would be to make weapons drop with 2 perks choices on the last 2 columns like we had in the dawning season.

I might redownload the game if it was like that

1 AntwortenI like the idea but there is a rather large problem with it. I would be willing to bet that a HUGE reason for them deciding to do this is so that we feel it necessary to grind out those nice rolls each season. I personally do not believe it has much to with power creep. Is that part of it? Sure.
