Recap:
So there's going to be no weapon ornaments in Eververse. Instead that's earned in game. It specifically only mentions "aspirational activity" as the place to get at least some, perhaps all them. Then this coming season the armor ornaments from the Season Pass will also only be available from "aspirational activities" :
We removed the Eververse Armor from Season 11 and itemized it into an aspirational activity
And they are defining aspirational activity as :
Aspirational Activities (Raids, Trials, Dungeons)
which is specifically activity with no matchmaking and isn't possible for solo-playing.
They then will be doing this each season, armor UO only for the premade team activity, not from buying the pass and playing your choice of game activity and not from Eververse and not from any solo playable activity.
...
The question from the above changes is where does that actually leave solo-playing content and solo-playing rewards?
Bungie/Cozmo/DMG, anything on this for us?
---
It's even more emphasized with Season of the Worthy very much unnecessarily punishing hard all solo-playing, with non-matchnaking seasonal activities being very problematic on numbers like Seraph Towers, nothing at all for PvP, and Champions with limited loadouts in PvE merely being the centerpiece of every activity.
---
Going forward by the TWAB we seem to be set for just two main tracks: Core playlists, that broadly remain the same and Aspirational activities with the content and main rewards from the Season Pass. Nothing mentioned in-between and nothing truly aspirational for solo-playing or matchmaking. Honest question are solo players or more accurately solo-playing just out? You haven't really left a lot of meat on the bone from the foregoing and what will be the return for us from buying future Season Passes. It seems very little? Is "Aspirational Content" for solo-playing going to be little more than essentially : try to become Essoterick ! - Do all 3 and 6 player activities solo. Again there's a big gap there where it is either strictly not accessible or where it is but just not designed to be and certainly isn't intetesting for most. It's hard not to see this as a move that devalues the season pass significantly for all solo-playing players.

Jet Set WillyIt’s all going concording to plan 😂🤣 - alt
I thought they were referring to the Eververse armour, not the season pass armour. They’re two different sets. There will still be ornaments in Eververse. Just not ones that obviously belong in certain activities due to their aesthetics. -
18 AntwortenYeah if you are not willing to compromise and find a team on your own then this game ain't for you. The shouldn't have to conform to the needs of solo players.

3 AntwortenDestiny is a game meant for grouping up with people. Even if none of your friends play destiny you still have plenty of resources to find a fireteam: i.e Find a firteam on the app, some consoles have their own system, or even reddit. If you can’t find what you are looking for, create one yourself

3 AntwortenI’m a solo player and can do a Master Nightfall alone, suck it up and get better.

1 AntwortenSolos should have/have already moved on to other games. Hell you'd be better off playing D1.

36 AntwortenDestiny never had, and will never have, a matchmaking option for endgame activities. It’s not in line with the identity of those activities and, despite what anyone states otherwise due to their personal experience, would cause way more problems than its worth. You choosing to play solo is that: a choice, meaning you don’t want to team up. Because of that choice, those activities are not for you.
