Why am I still playing
I have played 4 games of Iron banner and lost 3 of them in a row and finnaly one my last one but instead of feeling accomplished I still feel like I'm fighting an uphill battle. I recently left my clan because none of them ever hit me up or wanted to do anything (raids, nf, NMH). Like looking at the forums and the lack communication from bungie has just killed the game for me. Trails is a cow that hasn't even been cut up to be cooked let alone raw, the bunkers are just there for pve players to do bountys for, and the story is as dry as ever. At this point id seriously rather be doing anything else but still here I am watching my ship endlessly float through space around titan thinking

I want to say no but when one of your games top streamers, one of the guardians who has multiple day one raid clears who is better than I ever can be and MAKES MONEY WHILE PLAYING YOUR GAME ,says he's taking a break from playing ? What is the reason for anyone else to still play anymore?

4 AntwortenI play because its one of the many games I still play. Diversity is key. Depending on one game to be your one stop shop for entertainment is a seriously misguided decision. And a silly one to boot. I'd go mad too if all I allowed myself to enjoy was one game for the past five and a half years.

I’m just patiently waiting for the lord of the rings mmo. They actually seem to care about it. They even said that customer satisfaction is a priority.

7 AntwortenI said the same thing last night. Was finishing up Gambit chasing that tier two powerful reward, all to get a drop higher than 1001. I got the third set of gloves in a row and thinking to myself rng happens. But than another thought hit. Why am I doing this? I been playing since D1 and took a long break too. But it's a carrot chase for what.....I don't really even know why I do it. Loot is repetitive and nothing really blows me away like D1 goals. Idk I'm just gonna see what happens with the game and prob not chase after light level rewards as much. Just don't see point

I play Destiny for gunplay (PVE). Rest of this game is pure garbage for a long time. Loved D1 , D2 and especially Luke S developments are sad like coronavirus. Nothing good, no exciting TWAB with buffs in this bad times. Instead only nerf, nerf, garbage season, nerf, bullet spongies, nerf, boredom, excuses, nerf, lies.....

Should play games that actually value your time

The game hasnt had decent content since Forsaken IMO. I don't play anymore and this use to be one of my favorite series. Destiny 2 just isn't as good as Destiny 1 and at this rate never will be. I say it's time to hang up your helmet and walk away. There are plenty of other better games out there. That's just my viewpoint but hey you do you.

Could be gone a few hours, days or weeks. One of those times was about 6 months.

Probably the only reason why i play this game is for the camaraderie with clan members, with whom I do enjoy the banter. In saying this, I am not convinced I will go thru another season. The game has got too technical (special loadouts for just about everything) , story line which is now non existent, RNG which is getting worse and drives me mad.... 11 pinnacle boots in a row. And I find myself getting angry and have to stop and think that its just a game. It's a shame because I used to love this game now i just tolerate it.

13 AntwortenI picked up Division 2 and am having a lot of fun with that. I don't like 3rd person over the shoulder shooters, but this is done very well. Destiny is done. Bungle is only updating Everse and has a skelton crew doing "Content" updates. 99.9% of the rest of Bungles team is working on their NetEase IP and milking Destiny for money to fund it.

why didn't you answer your own question, or was it rhetorical I play for myself, if I can help a friend I do. Even though the game is falling apart at the seams, I still enjoy tweaking my characters, using a verity of weapons. Is it all the same, of course it is. I just play less, and do other things. Can't be afraid to switch up the routine. Your in a rut, change it up, you can still log in and dabble with this and that. good luck, Wook
