Unbroken is mine.
I know nobody actually cares about this, but since I'm looking for attention today I figured I would share my achievement and my story.
Since the title system came out i have been trying to get the title "Unbroken," because i wanted to show people that i had the capabilities to play at a certain level and just today I have acquired said title.
I struggled to get through comp when it first came out because I didn't have a dedicated pvp team to do it with and so I was solo queuing my way through a pre-made team based game mode, which is my fault and nobody else's.
It took me 2 seasons to get to lunas howl the first time and it felt like such an accomplishment that I started feeling real confidence in my abilities.
Obviously being happy I won a participation trophy compared to getting the top prize (not forgotten) isn't something many people should celebrate over, but i did so by continuing to push forward.
But i knew i didn't have the capabilities to get to the top where my goal wanted me to reach.
Fast forward to when bungie changed how many points you got per victory and how many points you lost (plus solo queuing) and i saw my opportunity to claw my way up to legend.
Although it's not as prestigious as it used to be, I still wanted to accomplish my goal.
The season before shadowkeep dropped was my first real climb to legend.
I'm not going to say I did it particularly skillfully.
One eyed mask, erentil and my primary being austringer (I know it's not cheesy, I just liked it better than spare rations) and my heavy death bringer.
I accomplished my first legend climb and got not forgotten.
It felt good to reach legend just once but after doing it once I figured I could do it again.
And I again did come shadowkeep.
And then finally today, my last climb to legend is over.
This was the single most difficult legend out of the 3 and it was because the things I used to cheese my way up were hit hard, I'm not going to deny it.
It took some time getting used to one eyed mask and erentil, but I found them to be good things to have on still and they helped me out in plenty of bad situations.
My primary of choice this time, however, was scathelocke.
It's my favorite auto and easily one of the best auto rifles in the game (if you have on try it with the medium zoom scope and hcr).
Thank you to all my team mates that helped me accomplish my goal.

1 AntwortenWow this is a pretty long story on your road to unbroken I got my lunas back in opulence and over the last 3 season I worked up to all crucible weapons and I gotten unbroken title my story is just simple 4 seasons of comp and that has left my mind broken

3 AntwortenOne Eyed Mask and Erentil? You should feel ashamed! Just kidding and congratulations, there's nothing wrong with using whatever you have to to succeed in comp because that's what everyone else is doing. According to DT only about 3% of people are at legend or mythic so far this season. I'm not sure if that's correct because DT's numbers can be off sometimes but if it is then its definitely something to be proud of.

9 AntwortenNice. I personally have no inclination to get unbroken. All my bouts in comp were for ritual weapons and luna’s howl was because I was already going for fabled during a hand cannon meta. I’m only playing comp now because the MIDA catalyst can drop at fabled 3. Small chance, but still. I have a couple friends who hop on and help occasionally. But most of it was through freelance.

1 AntwortenNice dude! That is not easy to acquire. I have to hit Legend in multiple seasons to get mine and I just can't with Survival lately.
