Greetings and salutation people. There are many d&d classes from a wizard in there tower to a cleric in a steeple. For I myself am very bored and a state like that will not be endured. So what are all your second favorite dungeons and dragons classes I wonder. Indeed I am asking about seconds I do not blunder. Please try to Include your reasons why the more you write the less boredom makes me cry. And as for a answer for myself I have had a long time to think about this while staying in good health. Now, while I like so many, my second favorite should not be a puzzle that is hard. For while I love the wizard my second favorite it probably the Bard!
Ok hath been riddled with boredom and sleeplessness so let’s give you all a post to respond to. Second favorite dungeons and dragons class. I have been reflecting in on myself lately and instead of finding self peace and satisfaction I found that I really love the bard. Why well I would tell you in song but I have kind of ran out of those since all my recent online d&d games.
Bards are amazing. It’s just that simple. It is just something I prefer to roleplay. For some reasons I like playing actor bards which sometimes leads to me roleplaying my character who is playing the Romeo of someone else. But most important I love to inspire other players. No bardic inspirations goes without a word of advice, no vicious mockery without some harsh poem, no spells do I cast without a song. I just love roleplaying a bard from scholarly lore bards to jesters and fools. Hmm maybe that’s it. I love being a fool for the crowds enjoyment. Maybe I should ditch my current career path and become some lords Jester. Anyone looking to hire a fool?
Anyways that’s my daily dose of random nonsensical typing. What are your second favorite classes in roleplaying games and why?
Why do I ask second favorite you may say? Now wouldn’t you like to know.
2 AntwortenI only ever played DnD once. I was one of the magicky types, in service to a fairy. I also had a talking crow, because I couldn’t talk. That means I don’t have a second favorite, but working for a fairy is always fun!

Elf ranger. Chaotic good/neutral. I don’t really like people and I’m at home alone in the woods.
-
1 AntwortenI've played DnD once as a Bard. I did as a Bard does when a Dragon appears. Now I avoid DnD to avoid child support payments.
-
5 AntwortenI want to play d&d, never have, don't know where to start and what I'd need.
-
3 AntwortenDragons are my favorite class. Dragons are also my second favorite class. Dragons are my third favorite class, and fourth and fifth and so on. Dragons are the best class. Dragons are the best race. Dragons are the best.

Bard *intense flute playing*
-
Mischievous Imp- It's where I do everything I can possibly do to derail everything the DnD party is doing. Best part is, I'm not a character they can kill. I throw out juxtapositions, what ifs, and some straight up Sheogorath shit!
TLDR; I screw with my friends while they are playing DnD!
1 AntwortenBard, I like the diversity of the clasa as well as the fact I can play a more chaotic character than my other classes I like since my favorite is a paladin. That being said I have not played D&D since AD&D 2nd edit so it has been a while.

1 AntwortenWhy second favorite? I only really play wild magic sorcerer because reasons that should be obvious.
-
Orc Barbarian is my second favorite, my first is always a rogue
-
Onion sage
-
Fighter, specifically eldritch knight
-
Player character is my second favourite class, but it's a distant, DISTANT second behind the DM class.
-
I have never truly gotten into DND, but when I did play, I was a Ranger and a Paladin. I enjoyed the paladin.
Hecking Spitfires
This is very hard, as I haven't had a lot of experience in too many in actual play yet. I'll say either bard or Feylock, for those are the main ones I have used besides Ranger.
-
I never have played dnd
-
Never played d&d
-
That's hard to say. My second favorite might be the ancestral guardian barbarian, though I haven't got to use it often.

3 AntwortenBard being my favorite, Warlock is my second. I love how much flavor it has with the different Patrons and invocations. An Old One cultist seeking forbidden knowledge or a Hexblade warrior wielding a sentient sword or the daughter of an Archfey studying abroad and filling the world with bees! It also feels more tactical than the other casters as you only have so many uses of your spells before you need a rest, which...can also just stick you with Eldritch Blasting stuff...but I also like that because it's a fun spell that's even more fun to shout!

Honestly, I haven’t played enough to say, as I’ve only played a handful of campaigns, I am playing a thief currently, a Druid twice, and a cleric the rest of the time. And, so far, Druid favorite, thief second favorite. Though thief may move up.....

8 AntwortenI am still learning the new classes for 5e, but I was not fond of most the classes back in AD&D. Wizards were useless until you got to a certain level & back then, we could not use anything more than a dagger. Clerics were kinda the same as wizards. Ranger & fighter were about the best go to back then, if I remember correctly, but you always wanted a Rogue as well. They would usually multi class & take some magic, which was nice, plus that was about as close as you could get to being an assassin without homebrewing it, which we did.

I enjoy a lovely Chaotic Neutral Bard. Life is a song, I only ride the tune
-
I’ve only ever played a battle master fighter, and I love all the ways you can spec them out with maneuvers, but I have been eyeing warlock for a bit in the players handbook. I like how they can fight in melee to a degree, and of course, Eldritch Blast.
-
My first favorite is Warlock but... we're talking about second favorite. My second favorite is gonna have to be Paladin. I didn't think I would like it until I decided to try it out for a campaign. Then I decided it was fun to have a melee class that can spec to be a tank, and have healing and dps spells.

2 AntwortenHere's a setup I love. Huma rogue, magic initiate feat. Sneak attack with Inflict Wounds
