Petition to bring back Rift
Easily one of the most fun game modes that needs to return to the game.

4 AntwortenYes! Folks do not like it because the game cannot be won by running around like an ape with a shotgun, it takes a little strategy and dare I say... skill? Definitely the best mode for IB IMO. I would grab the orb and run backwards, sometimes all the way to our zone and start back on the opposite side, worked most times... nothing as rewarding as slam dunking that thing.

1 AntwortenI logged some hours playing Rift in D1. It needed a few tweaks but it was fun 😀

Honestly, Team Scorched is the number one gamemode that harkons back to those classic halo days, stuff pike Grifball or Team Rockets. Rift was another and I was disappointed it wasn't included. But I understood, the game really wasn't a great fit to the balance when the game came out. But now? I think it ABSOLUTELY would make a fantastic addition.

1 AntwortenPeople complained so hard about it and wanted it gone. That's why they killed it off. It's only fun if you're on a fireteam with friends otherwise it's just frustrating because you can't coordinate with your teammates. I hated playing this solo.

I second this but I think the runner shouldn't give the enemy team extra points for killing them or at least make it so that the enemy team can't see their location through walls

1 AntwortenA really enjoyable game mode especially when you were on a team that understood the mechanics. Unfortunately not sure how it would go as lots of people not interested in the mechanics of a particular game mode, control is a great example. Bungie are good at micro managing gameplay so not sure why they could not create a temporary super buff ie in control capture a zone and damage upped by 50% for a minute same for when you plant the rift.
