Seriously, what was the point of bringing back trials? This gamemode is BROKEN. 1) Errorcodes are rampant, and there is NO REJOINING. Even COMP has that! 2) Both guardians are the last standing and get a trade? Whelp, I guess that's a coinflip instead of a REGULAR TIE, LIKE IN EVERY OTHER GAME-MODE. 3) Powerlevel should not be enabled. - I've played Destiny 2 since its launch. I've given it ENOUGH time of BORING powerlevel grind, THAT KEEPS GETTING RESET E.G. IT HAS NO MEANING! I have an actual life, with real responsibilities. I play PvP when I do Destiny, and due to that I probably wont get 1010 until this season resets, and the new powerlevel is dialed up to 25000. -blam!- you Bungie. I won't grind for that. That means I'll ALWAYS be at a disadvantage to the no-lifers; even in the single endgame activitity you offer for the part of this game that actually interests me (PvP). Iron Banner is annoying enough; but at least that game mode has some matchmaking. Trials don't. 4) Trials tokens get DELETED after every weekend. Yeah... Thanks for really caring about the time I put in. I played a couple of hours yesterday and could not get past 2 wins, meaning no loot for me. Apperantly the sweats REALLY want to farm that new trials shotgun huh...? With just these four points I can conclude two things: 1) Trials is not functioning properly on a technical level. It should not have launched like this. 2) With how the time players with average/less than average skill is so obviously completely disregarded (DELETING tokens), they will have no reason to play Trials. People with average/less than average time to play Destiny at all should not bother trying because of powerlevel differences. I seriously doubt launching Trials like this helps with player-retention and fostering a HEALTHY playerbase. This game-mode was on hiatus for how long...? So that you could make it a good experience...? If this was your idea of a "Perfected Trials", you could have let it stay on the drawing board. Bonus: According to Dmg04 we got Trial weapons instead of Ritual/Pinnacle weapons: https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/flitev/this_week_at_bungie_3192020/fkyvaps/?context=1000 As Pinnacles/Rituals function TODAY (meaning if we disregard weapon retirement) ANYONE can get those weapons ANYTIME. I SERIOUSLY DOUBT more than a very select few people are going to be playing trials in the months to come. I personaly would have rather had another Crucible ritual weapon to chase than this broken garbage that is trials. P.S. This is probably just me; but I feel like the way you are handling Destiny severly damages your company-name and actually endangers your employees livliehoods. I have ZERO faith in Bungie as of late. I won't be buying Season-passes or anything related to Destiny because of the constant bullshit you try to pull. Almost every change to the game and it's mechanics are ill-concieved and results in the everlasting feeling of a monkey-paw. Yeah... you fixed something but you also broke something. Case in point: 1) You gave us the options to turn off the emblems stat-trackers, BUUUT you also removed 99% of all stat-trackers. A god-damned monkey-paw. 2) You gave us back "Trials -The Perfected Version". Not very enjoyable for most of the community is it....? A god-damned monkey-paw. 3) You gave us the options to change armour affinity, BUUUT it costs about as much as masterworking an entire armor-set. A god-damned monkey-paw. I could go on, but it seems pointless. In my book you are entering EA-territory; I haven't bought an EA-game/product for YEARS. As it is now I will NEVER tell a friend to get Destiny 2.
