Is it right that some the absolute best weapons in the game were not amongst the six very, very meagre offerings of the season pass? Instead they're on the free-track from Trials? Specifically, the 600rpm, (the most beneficial archetype) AR The Summoner, set to be meta. Contrast that to the lowly 450rpm inferior archetype, very lacklustre Carbine - almost no thought even went into the naming of this or any of the others. And then there's the free-access, yet only if youre able to do Trials, aggressive kinetic Astral Horizon shotgun, also the absolute best in the game now, whilst the paid CQC12 (the height of naming creativity again) is inferior on all fronts. That's simply not right.

Are you not entirely stuffing the very people who ARE supporting the game, who are paying?
-
As I solo-play I will have no access to Trials nor have any PvP "endgame" content nor any of its loot and so you've cut us out of the best weapons in category. I also pay and in contrast you're offering us significantly inferior gear. This is not Pay-to-win but we should have access to earn at least comparable if not better weapons.
-
We're being both stiffed, excluded AND short-changed. You're hurting the wrong people. Welcome to the Season of the Worthy.
-
To clarify, both free-track AND Seasonal loot have to be EARNED. But the Free track should definitely NOT be superior to what we pay for the chance to earn which should damn-well not be INFERIOR.
-
This is bad enough itself, in terms of what we got for Season 10 (now just a Modding & Bounty-grind game) made worse when the better gear is even outright excluded from Co-operative solo players too. PvP has another 15 activity types beyond Trials and not everyone is a Trials player. This can only fuel buyer disappointment and fund up Recovery companies.

2 AntwortenThat 180 rpm officer revolver looks like top tier loot to me,,,,, my point is one man's so called trash weapon may in fact be someone's else's treasure, another example from the free track I don't use shotties so that quick draw one has no value to me yet it might be an absolute beast for your loadout The premium or free track and weapon rolls is more about your perception of value.

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von an Ape with a d2 addiction: 3/23/2020 8:19:50 AMDoesn't the carbine have arguably better pve rolls though? FTtC on third column + Vorpal / 2 other damage perks on the fourth. Same thing with all the 7. seraph guns. Each has a strong reloader + damage perk combination available, at least apparently more specifically tailored towards pve (besides the sidearm, but that also has stuff like demolitionist + vorpal). I don't feel they're bad guns at all. PVE DPS-wise most primaries within a specific archetype don't have significant differences. Least from what I remember 600 and 450 autos are close enough to not really have any difference at all in the raw pve DPS department. Though the ddamage charts I've seen were from previous patch, but the latest buffs to auto damage only apply to pvp numbers anyway as far as I understand. -edit- Never mind, the DPS chart's been updated to current patch: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12vF7ckMzN4hex-Tse4HPiVs_d9huFOKlvUoq5V41nxU/edit#gid=1507784010 There's really no noticeable difference if you compare the auto rifle frames.

1 AntwortenYou play solo sounds like a YOU problem idiot
-
1 AntwortenDude build a team and win a couple games. It’s not that hard. If you don’t have friends to play with hit up lfg. I’ll find a team in 10 minutes if I have to. You have access to the gun. You just need to put the effort in and get it.
-
5 AntwortenWait, they put the better weapons behind skill in trials instead of “I pay money, I get meta for doing literally nothing”? If you want to buy your god rolls, go pay 600 bucks to some sweaty try hard for your precious gun. Until then, get some skill and try your hand at trials.
-
7 AntwortenThis sounds like a Pay to Win concept. Destiny should never be pay to win, so if the weapons are on a free track in PvP then find a fireteam to play. I am almost confident that if Destiny becomes pay to win a lot more people will drop it than have already.
-
5 AntwortenWarmind cells. If you don’t understand what I typed above then u don’t understand a thing about the new weapons and mods.
-
3 AntwortenThe Season weapons/ Free Track weapons are actually very strong. Not only do they work wonders, but they are actually very strong in PVE. Probably the best. Spawning in the Warmind cells, I can wipe out so many enemies in one fell swoop. Now yes they may not work well in PVP, and yes I'd rather use my Summoner, and my Shotgun. And maybe those weapons aren't meant for PvP, why dose every weapon need to be cross-Activity? I like having my PVP/ PVE load outs separate.

14 AntwortenThere's Arc Logic, it was released at the beginning of Shadowkeep. I already have two for both PvE and PvP, imo it has better perk sets and is easy to farm. Astral Horizon is only good because of quickdraw, the real problem is they nerfed fusions too hard that shotgun and snipers usage is significantly higher. ToO gear isn't handed out and isn't the one all be all, and why bother when you don't even play endgame content. Yes there's problems with ToO and the game itself, but this ain't it chief

Ive been rocking a hunter arc build around the auto and smg with the new warmind mods. Its amazing.
-
The new energy lightweight shotgun is actually really good. I prefer the lightweight frames anyways. Very good damage to rate of fire ratio.

14 AntwortenBearbeitet von WoofinAintEazy: 3/22/2020 4:34:50 PMIt’s ultimately your fault for restricting what activities you choose to do. You’re the one who decided to play strictly solo in a multiplayer co-op game. You have to expect that you will be missing out on many items, since you choose not to play or take advantage of the full game. You’re excluding yourself. As someone who bought the season pass, and doesn’t like trials, I don’t care one bit about how good weapons are for a free activity.
-
Weellllll, if the good stuff was in the pass, that would be pay to win. At least the good stuff comes from grinding in PvP (Recluse, Revoker, Mountaintop) or Raids, or quests, like The Last Word, Thorn, The Chaperone, Izanagi's Burden, and of course, the Almighty Ace of Spades, Jotünn, Lord of Wolves.
-
2 AntwortenYou have to remember that S10 weapons spawn warmind cells that are pretty darn powerful in pve with right mods. Or any mod really. Is it good for pvp? Probably not (do they even spawn in pvp?) Is it OP in raids? Probably not. Is it fun in lower end of pve? Heck yeah it is. Maybe even higher end NFs if played right. damage reduction, aoe supression, aoe DoT, good chunk of damage..
-
1 AntwortenSo youre getting mad destiny 2 isnt pay to win?? Fair enough.
-
5 AntwortenStop and consider what you're actually saying is the best stuff doesn't come from payed content. That's the definition of Pay-to-win.
-
1 AntwortenWell if you're looking for a pay to win game then this one has not yet fully become one. Look elsewhere or wait till it does.
-
4 AntwortenSo stop buying the inferior stuff and just earn the free stuff instead. Pretty simple solution if that’s how you really feel about the pass.
-
1 AntwortenFree track from trials?!?! You have to win to get those!!!
