Trials is broken. I'm not even gonna get into auto rifles since they're not too bad except hard light of course. In all honesty bungie has set up trials to make money for streamers and recov services. God tier pvp streamers are holding raffles for people who pay them with subs and if they win the raffle the streamer will carry them to flawless with another god tier pvp friend of theirs. Don't get me started with destiny 2 guardian services charging people 30-200 dollars for recov flawles and armor. It blows my mind at this point. Bungie needs to set it to where if you go flawless once then moving forward that weekend you can only play against other flawless teams. Like a higher tier to give everyone else a chance. I teamed up with two other flawless players just to get destroyed by a streamer doing a carry with 24+ flawless wins. This is actually cancer since we had no issues getting to that point but as soon as you see a flawless emblem with a twitch name next to it Boom you're done.

Publicity. One hand washes the other. Plus Trials let’s the try hards crush casuals and keeps them playing. It’s all about numbers man.
-
5 AntwortenMy recommendation is to avoid Trials. It truly brings the worst out of the game. It’s garbage.
-
4 Antwortenthe reason they did is because streamers cause a dead game to seem to be alive and bring in revenue to bungie, if you arent a streamer you dont matter to them
-
OMG, who cares? If someone is offering a Service, and someone sees they get something out of it, they will pay which = ( Drum roll) A Job. It's like say I want to street race and this other person bought parts that NASCAR racers use " I'm at a Disadvantage" 😭😭😭😭 "it's not Fair"😭😭😭😭. These Streamers/ YouTubers see I can turn this into a job, it's a small job market for it right now. With low Demand. Get over it.

7 AntwortenI don't believe they intended for people to make money off of it, but I also don't think they do everything they can to prevent it. What do I know though?
-
1 AntwortenYour title sums it up. To line the pockets of the same players they invite to there summits. They could care less about the average player who plays there Bill's and allows them to work from home. No more silver purchases from me. Good luck greedy bungo.
-
Yeah I haven’t really enjoyed it so far, but things can change. The design really does favor streamers and recovs and not the average player.

2 AntwortenWe all knew trails was a flop. People were hating on it the day it was announced. I feel bad for bungie, but this was their choice to make. It sucks but oh well
-
2 AntwortenBeen flawless twice, not impossible, but not super fun either. No one will agree with you, but you are correct. This mode was made as a revenue stream for paid recoveries and streamers. If it makes you feel better, the weapons are meh and the armor is just armor, nothing spectacular. If you HAVE to have it, find a good squad or fork your $$$ over, that's just how it is these days (actually, since the beginning of D1 trials).

3 AntwortenPlayed 1 game lost to a bunch of sweats then started the next match straight away and matched the same team how can this happen thought it was meant to match you with someone on the same streak?
-
Found a guy today that was 50-0 in trials with 1 kill over those games and won all games because there was no other team.
-
3 AntwortenIt annoys me how successful Guardian Services is they over charge so much and their admins get 40% of the sale for sitting in a chair clicking 1 button.
-
Bungie and the streamers are doing a 69. You scratch my back I’ll scratch yours.
-
1 AntwortenImagine making a game mode that 99% of players will never get to enjoy.
-
1 AntwortenWhat's the difference between paying for a carry and holding a raffle prioritizing people who have given you money. One is against the terms of the agreement and the other is against the terms of agreement but is also gambling. Yet only 1 of them gets you banned and the other is considered helping the community.

3 AntwortenBecause they’re scumbags and scumbags stick together

Bearbeitet von ShakaDula14: 3/22/2020 5:04:57 AMTrials is a giant steaming pile of hot garbage. So is this meta. Hard light and snipers encourages people to play like cowards. Bungie needs to stop Listening to that oompa-loompa Luke Smith and catering to streamers.
-
I disagree with your assessment, they just need to cease and desist (see: temp ban) a few of the Trials streamers who are offering blatant recovery services (Wishyouluck, Arsis, some of the BSK players, etc). Doing help is different. People like Kraftyy who don't expect payment and play just to play and gain a community following (I guess you can argue that's indirect money, but whatever) is fine in my opinion. The people soliciting other's information and playing on their accounts for money? Absolutely toxic.

1 AntwortenThe real problem here is that this needs to be on a skill based system, you cannot have an unbroken player, that has gone flawless in the 0 win "bracket", a system where everyone starts in the same bracket, and you treat each win as a "skill Bracket" with you not being able to reset your ticket at will, and once you go to the light house, flawless or not you wont play against people you hasn't seen the light house yet. once you been to the light house you have to go buy a new ticket, the only one that will be available to you to get, will put you in a new bracket with the others where you can then farm tokens. the guys who wanna sit at 3 wins the whole time will need to throw games to reset.

7 AntwortenSome streamers are super nice people who help the community because they enjoy doing it and enjoy playing. They don’t ask for money from anyone and you don’t have to sub or pay anything to earn currency to participate in raffles. You could literally watch the stream for 30 minutes and end up winning a free carry. Do they make money doing what they do? Yes - but if that was the only reason they did it, they would probably move onto a more lucrative game that would get them more followers and line their pockets better than destiny does. And even if they weren’t streaming on twitch, even if people weren’t doing paid carries or recoveries, you would still end up going against insane teams of players. Shutting those things down wouldn’t stop it from happening. Trials is connection based and card based matchmaking, not skill based. This complaint has been something that’s been around since the dawn of trials in D1. I know it really sucks and can be really frustrating to lose against teams like that over and over, specially when you make it 1 win away from flawless - but that challenge and luck of the MM drawis also what makes flawless so sweet once obtained (at least for me as an average player).
-
Just give it time. The Competitive nature and loot system will likely drive away a lot of lesser skilled players. Trials is the pinnacle PvP activity though, so it should be sweaty.
-
No one wants to watch a player use the same gear, weapon, subclass, sequence of abilities and generally strategy all day 24/7, in a rather boring 3v3 environment, except those who want to be carried. Most bungie PvP streamers are now happily streaming everyday, instead of on the verge of quitting towards more yielding games. Look at frost and zk and the others, they were starting to get very depressed, now they’re doing the exact same thing they did before trials release, but they’re happy to do it since they’re making much more money. Tbh I have nothing against smarter or more skilled players using others needs and desires to make money, but it’s true that bungie cares more about baiting than delivering. It’s Luke Smith’s new vision of destiny, cash cowing on low resilience people.
-
Because they need to pad the numbers with some rando carries and recovs So people don't find out what a small number of players are really making it to the lighthouse. This game is so rigged it's probably dry humpin close to illegal.
-
1 AntwortenLiterally no point in this at all It happened at the very birth of Trials of Osiris and Bungie are just the uncaring company to the people who promote paid recoverys etc etc they do nothing to prevent them in their own LFG. The moderators/people who monitor movement on the forums and anything Destiny just do nothing about the paid recoverys it feels like. No hate to the moderators though because I see alot of good conversations they have but when it comes to the Dev Team "Yeah yeah I'll pass it onto the team" more like "Yeah yeah I'll pretend to like this and just toss it into the not to do list"
-
2 AntwortenThey didn't. Sheep who are willing to pay for it rather than earn it are the real problem here. There is no market is people don't pay for it.
-
1 AntwortenSerpha by it's very definition is just that, you want to climb K2 or Everest then you better hire a guide to get you to the Top. Yes these are the best of the best, super sweats on a different level then the rest of us bullet sponges, it's their moment to shine in 3mo or so the hype will die off and you and your above avg team will get to the light house.
