With trials returning next season, would win based freelance trials, also be a possibility. In order to allow those who do not have comp teams, the chance to experience the new/returning playlist?
-
As someone who really loved the previous Trials (and hope to love the new version) I personally would prefer it stay a team based game mode. The more saturated a playlist is with players the healthier it is and introducing a freelance list will dilute the player pool.

I’m not for this. Trials is pvp endgame. Comp freelance is good enough. I enjoyed that more than regular comp to be fair.
-
NO! That is all.

2 AntwortenThis might sound elitist or as if Im looking down on solo players but the simple fact is that trials is a highly competitive 3v3 mode which requires communication and teamwork. There are many options available to help you find a team, and there should be modes which require teams to create a highly competitive environment. Solo players either need to work up the courage to go on lfg and search for a team, get some friends together or just accept that they wont be able to participate. Bear in mind in essence trials is formatted as a 3v3 pvp tournament in which only the best can succeed. Therefore, it needs to be restricted to full teams.

Too lazy to make an LFG, huh?
-
And split the pvp playlist population even more?
-
sure, it would destroy the whole theme to trials
-
Use an lfg or die angry. Its not hard at takes about a minute to find a team to run trials if you arent ungodly picky.
-
I honestly don't see that happening. Trials is end game. Trials is also multiple matches. I think trying to have solo que trials would be a nightmare for matchmaking.

7 AntwortenI wish this was a thing. I also wish trials was a daily playlist and not just a weekly. I also wish it was survival and not elimination.. But a mix of both. Going flawless solo can happen. I've gotten 12 straight in survival solo and it's harder than elimination. Even if you don't make it flawless, to help out other solo players have a chance going flawless without having to pay some losers money to help them, or helping them at least get a 5th win for a weapon or bounty completion would be cool. I'd appreciate random help too!

why though? its an endgame pinnacle activity and you expect to go in solo? just go into lfgs and explore do crap with other people and ask them if they are down with playing again in hopes you find someone that you can reliably add to your team its not a guarentee but you may find people that are willing to play again i can vouch for this because it happened the other day, recently moved from ps4 to pc and only had 1 mate, we did a raid and found a really cool guy in the raid and asked and we have been playing like everyday since and he is pretty competent in pvp not the best but no one is. TLDR: lfg and dont be afraid to ask people to play again if they are someone you enjoy playing with

Idk why anyone thinks it’s going to have matching . Trials NEVER had matching for solo players before and Bungie has not said if it will in d2.

3 AntwortenAre you really sure you you want a blueberry quitting the moment he dies in the first round? I'm fully convinced that splititng the community via "freelance" playlists is a mistake. It damages the matchmaking potential of other playlists while introducing a whole other spew of issues in a new playlist. Make an in-game LFG system in the director, incentives for sherpas across endgame activites, and intriguing endgame loot and we would probably get much more people in certain activites.

1 AntwortenFreelance would be great. Only allowing people to go flawless once a week per character, would be huge too. Hopefully they learned from their mistakes. Once flawless for the week, character should be put into match making with other flawless. Would be great for the community as a whole.
-
If by freelance you mean match made, solo queuing trials? HECK. YES.
-
Yeah, but that would be too inclusive.

Makes too much sense

25 Antworteni really dont understand why people say no. the people that are screaming no will be screaming nerf everything that killed me. its not good enough that you go flawless they want no one else too. if it doesnt affect u in a negative way why not? ill play trials in a team of 3, but what about when my 2 guys arent on? It would be cool to jump in and grind it on ur own.

13 Antwortenall i read is responses from people saying the same silly selfish arguments when we asked for comp freelance. comp freelance is a success. and so will be a trials freelance. suck it!
-
Maybe they could do win based freelance reset through Friday, and then team only friday through monday. Id be down with that. Id play it a lot as well. Maybe even buy Silver 😱

Bearbeitet von indo: 3/9/2020 1:45:33 PMThere was also an idea of putting players who went flawless that week in a flawless match making pool so they can't make other players their lives miserable. Don't think it will happen. This will also not prevent recovs still making players their lives miserable.

Solo que trials would be worse than normal trials. As soon as you lose a round your teammates will leave. Get a team together and communicate on the mic otherwise you’re just hoping to get paired with good players and carried to a win. Good lucky getting to 7 wins that way 😂

2 Antworten“Win based” as in you still go to the lighthouse even if you lose a match after 9 matches? No If I am misunderstood you I apologize. I do think that a freelance trials would be a good idea though.
