Using hunter is like playing on training wheels. They should not be able to jump so high, they should not be able to jump right after dodging either. Warlock and Titans especially warlocks have a stupid lock on their animation whenever they use their ability. Whilst a hunter has absolutely no cool down for dodging. It makes no sense
There needs to be a cool down before you can jump as a hunter after dodging and a cool down before you can use your weapon
Dodging shouldn’t be a get out of jail free card you should use it when you need to get to cover not just because. If you can’t win your one v ones then boohoo to you.
Can you imagine a Titan using their barricade or a warlock using their rift mid gun fight. They would literally be shot before they could put it up or half the time it’ll be up but they’re already dead
This is why hunters plague the crucible and that needs to be changed

Hunters are the equivalent of using a GameShark. No I'm kidding. Even with what they have, I hate using them. They're a great beginner class that when mastered, can really piss some people off. Hence this topic They're fine tho.

Dodge is far from a get out of jail free card, the most you could do is dodge to cover which can be countered by rushing or throwing nades before the hunter starts healing. Dodging out in the open during a gunfight puts them at a disadvantage because they put their gun away and become completely vulnerable for a full second before they then have to re-aim and start shooting again, plenty of time to just shoot them. I do it all the time to other Hunters, just shoot them out of it. Every class has their advantages and disadvantages, Hunters are fast and a tad harder to shoot, but as overall ability power goes, Warlocks and Titans take the cake with their grenades alone. I’ve enjoyed the time I’ve spent on all three classes in PvP (as much as I struggle to adjust play style every time I switch lol)

8 AntwortenHunter jump needs to be turned into a jetpack, like the other 2 classes. They are too strong in the air and cover so much ground. It should also not be instant activation for that instant height, with no audio present whilst in the air. Dodge should have a 30 second cooldown at the lowest, and should provide no damage resist, and not break tracking. Additionally, it shouldn't be usable whilst getting shot or right after shooting.

But if they wanna be a mmo, which unfortunately it appears so, then class distinctions are pretty much the only good part of a mmo that they brought over to destiny. Cause it sure as hell isnt the seasonal content, weapon obsoletion, and grinding for +1 pants. Hunter-quick and agile Titan-beefy and strong Warlock- support They all play a role and work together well in dynamic teams if you all actually work together as a fireteam with your individual weaknesses being mitigated by it being the other classes strong point.

On PC, all of the classes perform pretty damn close to equally. The perceived advantages you think hunter has in regards to jumping, dodging, or mobility in general are practically non-existent with mouse and keyboard control. The only reason you think they're strong on console is because controllers suck. The abilities, supers, and passive skills of the hunter class are no stronger than the other classes. Looking at KDA stats from yesterday, all subclasses were within 0.1 KDA of one another. The range was 1.2 to 1.3 average KDA across all subclasses.

21 AntwortenGood post. I Warlock main, but play all 3 classes, and Hunters are just designed to rule Crucible. No other class can go invisible. No other class has as long a ranged OHK. No other class can instantly reload their weapon (while dodging attacks and possible becoming invisible) No other class has an exotic that takes away opponents radar. Blade Barrage casts faster and does damage to a wider area than Nova Bomb and gets more super energy back when using the exotic than a warlock can with Nova Bomb and Skull exotic. Warlocks and Titan Animations are way to slow. They either need to speed them up or give extra damage resistance during the Animation. A Hunter doesn’t have to plan out where and when to use a dodge, but just use it instinctively when handy. Both a Titan and Warlock need to have an obstacle or distance between them and the enemy to cast their ability and still has a great chance of getting sniped while casting or killed by a grenade because they just set up a huge target. Rally Barricade and Lunifaction Boots both got Nerfed as to not instantly reload ammo, so PVE can be more challenging, but Hunter Dodge still remained the same. Which means in both PVE and PVP, Hunters have highest DPS

Agree super hard. They need nerfs to their jumps. Literally if you play on your Hunter your KD is going to go up just a little bit no matter what
