Yeah I came back around shadowkeep and I've been grinding iron banner for a good claws of the wolf with high cal rounds , headseeker and kill clip. I understand now that I will never get it and now I play starwars battlefront 2 as my main game. I'm super burnt out. I just want one gun

Maybe Cozmo and Dmg04 should read through this post and all of its replies, and “pass it along to the team”, that their shi[i]t[/i] sandwich of a game is boring the FRACK out of more and more people on an ongoing weekly basis. And, that they will start to permanently lose players if they don’t start pulling their visions off of the $$$ sings, and figure out how to create a new Destiny game that was as fun as Destiny 1 was at yr 3 Because [b][i]IMO[/i][/b], I don’t think there will be many gamers (at least not those with any common sense), investing hard earned cash yet again for another shi[i]t[/i] game from Bungie.... especially since they no longer have any of their old and talented crew to make good content !

Haven't played in over two weeks. When I realized the Empyrean Foundation was "grind the things you were already bored with grinding," I just gave up and logged out. Might be done with the game. They got me with Saint-14 for this season, but I doubt they have something that good for next season. It's been fun, but I might just need to admit this game has run its course with me after four and a half years. Pretty good run. The only one longer is the near 11 years I've played WoW. But yeah. Burned out and done right now.

The whole light level, pinnacle system really sucks to me now. And once you reach a certain cap, other activities just become less useful. This whole "powerful rewards" mess was created to slow us down, and add more grind. Once you do pinnacle runs, it kinds takes the drive from me to play any other activities because of the rewards.

As a crucible player I have nothing to do anymore. Last season I ran completely off of just enjoying crucible but it’s just bleh this season. Unbroken: check All pinnacle/ritual weapons: check Achieving legend in comp can be completed in a day or two now, and there isn’t even a reason to get legend anymore (after getting unbroken).

I'm just annoyed they keep adding bs modifiers and mechanics to end game activity and pushing content away from most players. I just play crucible and gambit (so I can invade non stop). The game has been stale since we all got done with dreaming city

I'm not burnt out, I've just run out of stuff to do at the moment I'll try doing legendary sundial next week to get the Savior badge then come back fully when season of the worthy comes

Ya, this is the longest I’ve been away from a Destiny game and I’m a D1 beta player. I check in every now and then to buy something with my bright dust. I checked in yesterday to see the new cut scene but had to push myself. lol. The grind is not worth it anymore. D1 ended on such a high note and for D2 to be in this state is so sad. I loved this game and was such a fan boy, but no more. Here’s to hoping that they can bring back the oh s**t moments again weather in loot drops (Ghorn) or the raids. Yeah burn out is a understatement. Now I find it garbage. once a game I loved now I hate it tired of the boring grind and the same enemies that spawn from the same location. To chasing weapons and gear that are totally irrelevant in the grand scheme of things where balance doesn't equate. And now monetised for seasons on top of the monetisations on eververse has wreaked this game. I'm just glad I don't buy into it now where other games are more deserving of my time and money. I took off the rose tinted glasses and seen this game for what it is. And sure you'll have the diehards defend this game to there last breath but more fool them imo.

This is why Bungie and other crap developers rent. They can slap crap together and charge the players to test it. With Shattered Heap and season of the yawn, Bungie gives me no reason to rent this crap. I started over a year ago as F2P. A friend of mine gifted me Forsaken and the season pass. In less than 1 month that friend and I got in a fight about how the "game" was played. We were new to the "game" and didn't understand it very well. In a strike, we had to stand in the 3 rings and fight the enemy. My friend and I and a matched player tried the strike. The matched player was in an area the AI wasn't attacking, with its character dancing. My friend and I, not knowing that we were to stand in the rings were being killed left and right. I went over by the matched player and it tried pushing me back into the fight. My friend got mad at me because he was still being killed and I was screwing with the other player. My friend disconnected and we fought about it for a few days. We haven't spoken to each other since. Playing the "game" my former friend gifted me, I managed to finally get into a clan. Forgotten Ones was the name. The header explaining the clan was the opposite of why it was named that. "This clan will not forget you". Well, I could never get to know them. After about 3 weeks of doing Hothorn bounties and unable to connect with anyone in the clan on discord. I quit and reported the clan. My bad... I was a forgotten one. That got their attention. They blocked me on discord and the email I gave them, the account was attacked and I was locked out of it. I admit I started this "game" with a bad attitude and is probably a lot of the reason I'm running into so much bad luck. I'm strictly PVE with no fireteam. I find the other players in this "game" to be nothing but a problem and taking points and opportunities away from me. I spend much time in lost sectors or adventures that take me away from the haters and hackers in the game. If they don't see my name on the roster, I don't get messed with. There are many problems with this "game". Mainly, things disappearing and AI screaming after blowing their heads off. Your clock never stops in the game. Even if you're not in it. WTF? Now I'm solo in Forsaken. Reached LL750 and Masterworked and upgraded everything I liked. Bunghole goes to steam and I lose most of it. Not renting shadowkeep I reached my max of 960LL and again upgraded everything I liked. Now it's just a boring grind. I'm in the top 1% of the time played in D2 with close to 4,000 hrs on my account. Another friend rented Forsaken and thought it was too time-consuming. They gave me the account information. I'm running my second set of characters and is taking almost 4 times as long to advance as it took me with the first 3 and I'm more familiar with this "game". I believe Bunghole is trying to make this "game" blow. It's much more time consuming to get anywhere and $12 to rent one emote? I gave steam 5 bucks so "I" could have a friend in the "game". They give me no reason to rent crap that's going downhill. I play all the time and see very few. D2 is almost dead. At least the PVE anyway. I wont go back to hackville PVP.

Honestly I've been burned out since shortly after Undying dropped and the game turned into a bounty farm. There has absolutely been a bevvy of fun loot and good experiences interspersed, but at least 50% of my time on Destiny since Undying has been grinding bounties for season pass rewards and weapon rolls. I'd really like to see a stronger emphasis on activities (and of course accomplishments within those activities) driving rewards. I get that there's an issue with AFK'ers ruining that option, but let's not spoil the recipe on account of outliers. I miss powerful, unique pinnacle weapons and engaging exotic quests. All new exotics should have catalyst quests that spawn immediately after you complete them btw, it's heresy that we don't them yet for Devil's Ruin or Bastion, let alone Xenophage and others. I wish there was a way to get exotic catalysts for several weapons (Rat King and Sunshot) that weren't pure effing RNG. I don't even want to talk about Bad Juju thanks to the bright dust drought. I've done enough strikes and NFs over many years to make Zavala retire the operation. That's a road to burnout too.

Why bother grinding out the Symmetry catalyst, if you need unstoppable/anti-barrier/overload mods on weapons? I'll just use literally any other purple weapon instead, so I can actually do stuff with it. Almost all the exotics are like that for me.

Agreed. Exactly how I feel. Once you get over the FOMO, none of the “content” matters. I’ve logged in, sat in orbit and got bored of the thought of the grind for nowt and logged right off again. On the plus side, I’ve played different games, been a more productive at work and had more exercise!
