What a shocking experience.
Do you guys not test the patches at all? This is not the first time. This is truly unacceptable.
I myself, like a ton of the player base, played after the patch.
We completed things, some of the Crimson bounties and spent time in the game.
I myself completed 3 or 4 of that weekly/dailies.
Received the 970 Chest Pinnacle I've been looking for and thanks to this silly pinnacle system you have it is already rather annoying.
Just to have that time spend thrown back into our faces by incompetence? Time we can't get back.
And the only real thing you have to say to people here on the forum is replies like below...
Due to the rollback:
💠 Any progress or purchase made between 8:30-10:30 AM PST will need to be redone
💠 Silver spent during that time will be restored
💠 Platform store-purchased Silver bundles will not be affected by the rollback
💠 Fractaline will be returned to inventories
FFS, at the very least take more than 10 seconds to copy/paste some crap...
What we expect from a proper company is for these sort of crap not to happen over and over.
And when it does happen in a blue moon (not the case with you Bungie) is for it to be put right, people to be compensated for your mistakes, and time spent, not us suffering because of something you did or you can't seem to do.
In what world is something like this suppose to be acceptable.
It's on you to make this right. Continuing to just piss the player base off each week is not the way.

7 AntwortenWhile a lot of people here think I’m a Bungie fanboy, I agree with you about this should not have happened again, especially so close to the last time it happened. I used to code so I know how hard and time consuming coding can be. However, there really is no excusing Bungie developers for not finding out what caused missing currency on the previous update before pushing this update because of what a headache it caused just weeks ago. The bad code in the previous patch should not have been in this one. Bungie, your developers did screw this up, big time, because this is the 2nd time in as many updates where you had to roll back accounts due to the same issue. You need to put in safeguards against having to rollback to cause players to lose hard worked items. I always say this is just a game, but as the OP said, there is the list time factor. I don’t usually call for this type of stuff, but Bungie, you should seriously think about how this affected thousands or millions of players and do some sort of compensation and you should make some public announcement about this and put a better backup plan into action. 2 issues exactly the same out of 2 updates in a row really shouldn’t happen.

I couldn't agree more. I know I only lost the new age black armory shader, but I don't have the time to play games for hours at a time every day. I am absolutely disgusted in the way this has been handled, and if nothing is done about this soon, I'll spend my money elsewhere. No more season pass payments until bungie deal with this.
