264 AntwortenWhen you say "OP", do you mean when you could take more damage, or when you could deal more damage from certain weapons or archetypes that have changed in the last few updates? Thanks!

2 AntwortenSome might call it easy mode, I call it building a strong character over many years to be overwhelmingly powerful and crushing our foes. The whole point of crucible was to hone our skills against one another, you want to be challenged go to PvP, you want to flex go to PvE. The power fantasy comes and goes, when it comes it's usually by way of a glitch or error, exotic bow and wormgod caress are 2 recent examples of accidental power fantasies that should have been intentional and left alone.

You mean you were having fun being powerful in a power fantasy game? Say it ain't so! Too bad Bungie doesn't allow fun at all. They nerf it.

10 AntwortenBearbeitet von Jet2Holiday: 2/6/2020 2:20:26 PMAre you tired of all the nerfs? Oh boy, just you WAIT until Trials is on rotation...
-
I always remember being top level in destiny 1 and it would still take me more then 1 melee hit to kill a regular vandal on spawn area on earth lol vandals OP asf
-
11 AntwortenI liked it when you could play the game without watching a douchey YouTube video for every single thing.
-
back when whispers could regenerate full amo and lunar boot reloaded. Such a fun time.
-
Shadowkeep is more like vanilla d2 which was trash. Then forsaken which was pretty good. Too bad the management for this game is seriously lacking.
-
Honestly, I felt the power fantasy during Forsaken just right. I wouldn't say it was OP at all. I mean, people struggled with Last Wish, Day 1 forges, and even EP had to be nerfed. I think people have selective memory when it comes to recalling the game's difficultly in the past.

1 AntwortenI don't mind a challenge from strong enemies, but one can only handle being killed by a simple slap from a regular psion while shotgunning them point-blank in the face oh so many times before it gets blood-curdlingly frustrating. I'd expect that of Legend difficulty activities, not Normal runs. 😑

6 AntwortenOpulence was the height of Destiny 2. That was what being powerful felt like. Now we really don't feel much more powerful than the average citizen. I can't even one shot a red bar enemy with my Warlock charged melee in regular Sundial. That feels really bad.
-
Yea I loved actually feeling powerful sometimes, especially when visiting low level areas. Now everything scales and I hate that. Nothing feels particularly powerful aside from a few top tier exotics. Scouts are a sad state compared to d1 where they popped heads like crazy. I don’t use scouts in d2.

15 AntwortenBut was forsaken fun because we where op? I'd say it's becuase of these reason's. - Had an actual story with a goal that ended for once. Kill uldric - New world drops and vendor refresh - New enemy - The largest raid in history of Destiny. - 9 new supers in total. With more. - A much needed TTK change in PvP - The Dreaming City. Easily the best planet destination ever. Not to mention beautiful as hell.

I miss pre-nerf Blade Barrage/Shards of Galanor the most ... damn that was fun

62 AntwortenBearbeitet von G0lden Hunt3r: 2/6/2020 5:40:58 PMYou can thank PvP for that. Every single nerf we had came from the PvP players. Except whisper and autoreloading..that nerf came from the streamers complaining raid were too easy.

Destiny used to be a lot more fun in a lot of ways......

2 AntwortenYeah bro but people hated having unlimited suppers and also disliked using melting point trench barrel for all bosses

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von changy081: 2/8/2020 3:43:53 PMRemember back in D1 when two sniper shot from a vandal or hobgoblin can kill you? Remember how potent some boss's damage was back in D1, so potent that guardians even at max level would have to take cover to not die in 2-3 shots? Remember always wiping at that archon priest and his ogre? Remember how strong everything was back in D1? That's what I want, Difficulty. Remember when you could barely pop a shield on an enemey? Remember how strong shriekers were if you didn't run from their darts? Remember that one boss fight where an ogre and cabal was fighting you at the same time and you had to stay behind cover to not get killed? Remember how scarce ammo was back then? Remember shanks dealing a ton of damage? Remember sepiks perfected literally forcing players to hide in a room if one person was down? Remember all the hard mechanics and fights that made Destiny hard and enjoyable in D1? Remember how hard some content was if you didn't have any friends who played destiny? (I'm talking black spindle baby!!! I got my shit SOLO!!! Took so many wipes but I got it in the end!"

Im having fun with triple shotties and one punching everything
-
1 AntwortenWe arent OP right now? I mean in certain activities sure but with weapons like my beautiful trophy hunter and basically all the other SoD weapons I sure feel pretty damn powerful
-
I remember when everybody was solo melting Riven back in the day... Whats that? Thats a fairly recent and current thing? Dayum
-
We are still ridiculously OP. I had so much more fun during D1, when you had to actually think about what you were doing and not rush in, and destroy everything. I miss needing to be a little more cautious and being smart about what we did. If you think we aren't OP anymore, you need a reminder of what it was when D2 first launched, and how much harder the game was in D1.

No... Wrong!!!!!!!!!!

5 AntwortenDestiny was more fun when the streamer kids like datto had no voice or following.

Bearbeitet von lCertifiedl: 2/7/2020 11:27:10 AMI think if you put the time in to get the best armour, guns and rolls plus exotics/pinaccles then you should feel OP The main issue for me is the scaling just seems off, you go on patrol and get smashed by a dreg that's 200 levels below you, light level just doesn't mean anything unless you are under or around the activities. But again it's a classic case of bungie not really having any deep systems in place to be worth min/maxing and the ones that are in place are shallow or pointless. After playing tonnes of borderlands recently, coming back to destiny feels so bad from the loot/build perspective, so much that I struggle get to an hour's play time and usually turn off

You had to go and say fun didn’t you. Bungie doesn’t like fun. Unless they seek it at Eververse.
