Malfeasance, whisper taken themed.
Anarchy, LoW, queens breaker fallen.
Skyburners, Acrius cabal.
Terabah and xenophage are hive themed.
Divinity is vex themed.
Outbreak siva themed.
There are weapons that are utilized by enemy races, mainly the fallen weapons, and then theres the aesthetic look and appearance. Basically the rest.

Again it looks hive. Not used by hive. But whatevs. It seems everyone in this thread has to jump on the correction band wagon.

-
Not saying that. Just the way I see it. The rustic decrepit looking theme. Just me idk.
-
Tarabah isnt hive themed. And im talking about weapons utilized by enemu races like vex slap rifles or fallen shock rifles (the energy tifles that shoot trackable rounds)
-
Terrabah most certainly has a hive aesthetic to it. Though tbh if we could a enemy themed weapon and idk why they didnt do this. The berserker rifle from SotP would have definitely been a cool exotic.
-
Tarrabah isn’t hive based. Aesthetically maybe but it isn’t tied to the lore. Tarrabah is meant to be modeled after a Tasmanian devil and it’s rusted like appearance could be attributed to the fact that it’s an old weapon. Hive themed weapons are like the altars of sorrows/Crota’s end weapons and exotic wise Necrochasm.
-
Like I said aesthetically. It reminds me of the hive. It looks hive. Doesnt make it a hive weapon. But it definitely looks the part.
-
Yes but it’s just a bad example in line with your other listings. Just wanted to clarify.
-
I even say in my original statement theres weapons actually used by enemy races, and some that just have a look. Soooooo
-
I disagree with the fact that it’s hive based aesthetically. The back end of the weapon is made of a bark like material which doesn’t scream hive at all, the weapon is rusted which hive do tend to kind of resemble but it isn’t really intrinsic to them. Necrochasm better resembles this with it’s alien like appearance Imo
-
You're absolutely right. Nechrochasm does. But since it or mythoclast aren't in D2 I didn't list em. Personally I like to think of terrabah similar to that of gahlran. Clearly not hive, but has come under hive influence being in the underbelly of the leviathan for so long.
-
Yeah it’s cool to think of it like that, all of the crown weapons look rusted too since they were refashioned for gahlran iirc.
-
I dont know were you see that aesthetic from
-
The whole look of it screams hive, especially when its lit up. To each their own. Not arguing this lol.
-
When its lit up it reminds me of rat king since it has rats on the side
-
Tasmanian devils but they do look like rats lol
