Since Update Times To Tower is Looonnnggg!
Bungie, I know you have had to deal with a LOT of issues today since the update, and I don't want to dump more problems on you, but since today's update it is now taking over 2 minutes to fly into the tower from orbit. I have a dedicated SSD with only Destiny 2 loaded onto it. It use to take me maybe 15 seconds to fly in to the tower, but since the update it now takes over 2 minutes every single time.
Just thought I'd mention it just in case you can get a chance to look at it.

I have noticed this as well and also have a SSD. It takes significantly longer to fly to the tower now than it ever has since I’ve installed my SSD. What is going on with this game?

I’ve got £5 on them fixing this but breaking Izanagi’s burden. Anyone else?

I think it’s connected to the waiting with a black screen at the crucible glitch.

Just one of many many issues with this game.... but hey, Eververse works flawlessly.

I played D1 yesterday, after selecting character it only took 30 seconds to get to the tower. Ran shield brothers strike and got at least 5 supers before it was completed... rewarded with a weapon ornament for Vex Mythoclast from completing that strike. WTF happened Bungie!?

My first ride in was like watching trailers for a Redbox. It was never ending and I couldn’t skip to the movie.

HOLY COW!!! lol! Just logged in this morning to see if my account was effected by the material glitch that the update introduced. Fortunately everything looked ok on initial inspection, but JFC it took 8 minutes from orbit to Tower. Roughly a little more than twice the time it usually took. It’s beyond time to accept that the skeleton crew working on D2 are likely interns in training. This franchise feels like it’s five days old instead of 5 years old.

2 AntwortenYou know why ? Cuz the tower holds 36 players now 😁 from the previous 12 per tower I don't know why is this a thing but it's the reason for the long loading times, the game has to load all people with their gear so it takes longer

there to busy working on framerate issues elsewhere where no one really says anything about it except bungie loading times to the tower, to your character on console is so horrible, nothing is being adressed about it
