Why is my dog so old.
Only 8 years ago he was a baby puppy. Feels like yesterday.
Now I fear he is reaching the end of his lifespan.
Goddammit, this saddens me.

4 AntwortenI have two cats that I had from their birth. Their getting older 😕 They have a longer life span tho which is nice but their still getting there slowly 😔 Still worth it tho, you can’t help that bit. A happy old natural death is the best we can hope for 😪

1 AntwortenMy dog lived to 18. So you shouldn’t worry too much. Also a study found that dogs that live together tend to live longer. So if your able to I recommend getting another dog to help.

My dog is 15 and the vet says his health is still excellent. Dogs can surprise you. They're hardy.

My lab's about to be seven. He ways like 120 lbs now. I remember when I could hold him in the palm of one hand.

My last dog died at the age of 19, every time we thought we was going to have to put her down, she would rebound and have no issues for a year or more. This started around the age of 14. Don't give up on him, dogs will surprise you. She was a lab chow mix. Picture isn't actually her, but more or less what she looked like.
