The idea that Raid weapons should be unique is fine with me, as long as they are just average Crucible weapons.
The idea that you have to Raid to have decent weapons in the Crucible is ludicrous.
Please, let's not go back down that road again.

Raids should have the best gear. It makes no sense for the pinnacle activity not to. I understand your concern for crucible, which is why many of us wish they've found a way to seperate them from the beginning. You're not wrong on thinking it's a bad idea for powerful weapons that aren't readily available to everyone to dominate crucible. Luna's Howl and Not Forgotten is different as you can obtain those through crucible. It's not easy, but everyone has access to it. For raids you need a team, which isn't going to work out for everyone. I don't know if different lobbies are reasonable. I may dive in to some ESO PvP after what I discovered last night. There are multiple lobbies to choose from. One of the lobbies has a cap on champion points which evens out the endgame pvp playing field better. I've avoided PvP because the one time I went in and got murdered real quick just exploring, because some of the PvP people are max rank past 800cp. Maybe Bungie could find a way to make lobbies for people that want crucible weapons only and then a different lobby for people that want to use any and every weapon in the game.

Or better yet after reading that comparison, lobbies where perks are disabled so it’s just the base stats of the gun.

That would be interesting. I think a lot of their crucible issue may have been solved a while ago if they more options in the playlist.
