Why is the erintil not patched yet
Why is this fusion still not patched it literally is the best gun in the game and has been for a while now why would you make that the meta because of skill based matchmaking that’s all I get matched up with now would you not want something like hand cannons or something to be the meta guns that take skill rather than a fusion that one taps on the body

First of all, don't say ERENTIL, say high impact fusion rifles. That's just to make it clear that erentil is nothing special for its archetype, it's just easy to get. Second, they're not really any more of a problem than shotguns on console, and on PC I don't think they're much worse. People just don't know how to counter them because they are rarely in the meta. Third, hand cannons don't really take much skill because you only need to hit a few shots to kill, and the recoil isn't even bad anymore Finally, do you really think people are going to switch from fusion rifles to hand cannons if they nerf high impact fusions? People already use hand cannons as their primaries, it will be the special weapons that will change. So if they nerf fusion rifles people will just switch to only shotguns.

It’s not the best gun in the game. If it were the best gun in the game it would also be the most used gun in the game. It’s not the most used secondary weapon. Shotguns and snipers are still far more used. It’s not the most used energy weapon. LH has been the most used energy weapon since Forsaken. It’s not even the most used fusion. Usually that’s Jotuun. Depends on the day. There is no data to suggest it’s over powered, over tuned, broken, or bugged. It doesn’t need to be patched, nerfed, or balanced. The gun is balanced. It’s only easy to use when your opponents refuse to adapt to playing against it.

18 AntwortenBecause it is not broken. It is doing what its weapontype should do. Mid---- mid/long range special weapon. Shotgun is short-mid range. Sniper is long range. If fusions start outranging sniper...then they are broken. Anything beliw that is where they should be. If you have a problem with that...blame the people who wanted the heavy weapons to be energy weapons again.

Yes, erentil is a great option but the charge time keeps it in check. Yes, it has great range and impact but if I knew an opponent had it (charging sound) I could usually best them. Mindbender’s in the hands of an invis stompeese wearing hunter with max mobility is the single biggest threat in the crucible right now. This is my assessment after grinding comp. for days. Edit: oh yeah, I forgot to add: No nerfs! We’ve had enough recently with Shadowkeep. It’s time for buffs.
