Hey hey hey, he watches and oversees the crucible. He isn't the one down their getting buck shot in his face or their head removed. I'm pretty sure guardians still feel pain, and the crucible might just be the most painful sport in the history of video games. And kids watch it too. Besides, he ain't the one that goes to break the glimmer extraction drills. Someone still gotta do those.

1 AntwortenI just like to point out that Crucible is apparently a legitimate job in the Bungieverse. Ironically justifies PvP complaints at least in canon, and Shaxx ignores said complaints because they don't pay him enough to care!

Apparently Shaxx doesn't get rewarded any more than we do for participating in the Crucible. Destiny just hates rewarding you for playing PvP.

Yet, each time they call on us to do what nobody else can do, and risk our lives against some "evil" unstoppable force, do they readily equip us with the best gear and weapons they have to offer? Nope. They offer to sell us what they have though. Glimmer is more important to the vanguard than helping us with any humanity saving mission they may be sending us into. So, it makes sense they pay the others a garbage wage. They don't even bother to equip their elite soldiers if they can't pay up.

He should work for tips. Don't even have to report them (if guardians pay him directly with glimmer). I know that in some countries this is massive insult to the owners, in other countries it's expected that you determine what an employee should get paid, not the employer. I say we give him everything he earns. I'll wait for him to take my order.
