“Show off your achievement! Enhance your exotic...”
This game is suffering because of this bullshit.
You can’t fix a broken sundial for a month, but you can insert an advertisement for your piece of shit weapon skin?
This is disgusting.
*I do want to add that I’m not against Bungie making money and being successful. If they create another free mission like Whisper, then by all means, create some skins. But do not charge us money for such a basic mission, then advertise to people that they should “enhance” their reward with a skin.
It’s tacky and it confirms my claim that Bungie is just forcing out uninspired content in order to monetize skins.

1 Antwortenthere are so many other issues that need fixing why this is on anyone's mind is beyond me.
-
I wouldn't mind if they had their priorities straight. Which they clearly don't.
-
7 AntwortenIdk about you folks, I feel so much *pride and accomplishment* by buying a skin for a weapon with one of the easiest questlines for an exotic ever. "Show off your achievement by giving us money" LMAO

6 AntwortenBearbeitet von lCertifiedl: 1/12/2020 8:10:18 AMLoads of bungie bum lickers getting upset in here.... hilarious. Mtx are a shit stain in the gaming industry...end of.

It's not even an achievement, I played one round of sundial and found 10 redjacks in a map, it wasn't hard.
-
5 AntwortenThe basically GAVE us this exotic so that as many as people as possible had the gun, that way they can maximize the potential to have people buy this skin. $7 skin that makes u buy $10 of silver for something that my 4 year old earnt.. This shit is getting ridiculous now. Whilst not predatory it is extremely low bar.. and this company already had a pretty low bar recently...

10 AntwortenThis game is suffering not because they are making money on eververse, but because they are not putting that money back into the game.
-
Same, saw the advert and was like "really bungie? "Pride and accomplishment" levels of want? 🖕 You're not getting money from me
-
I laughed and said "That's just sad."

This is what we get when Luke Smith takes the wheel. Fukin sheeit.

1 AntwortenSorry you aren't enjoying our intrusive microtransaction storefront. The team is considering a consumable item that blocks in-game Eververse advertising for 24 hours, to be sold for 100 silver. The community response on reddit has been very positive, but please let us know what you guys think. Thank you for your feedback and have a great day.

I haven't been playing much because of all the bugs and lack of interesting content, and that advertisement was kind of unsettling to see when i did log in yesterday. The worst part of it is the description. Achievement? for completing a fetch quest on a pvp map? talk about lackluster.

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von Zimo: 1/11/2020 5:42:06 PMOle' Bungo just ain't the same as before; these aren't collectively the same bunch of masterminds that brought us the beginning and iconic iterations of Halo and the highlights of D1. Now the company is hollow and a shell of it's former self. Concerning microtransactions, heard Luke Smith (once a Kotaku writer) is a WoW fan, and so he believes taking the game in that direction with all the reskins, Eververse, emphasis on flashy emotes, and (which is a cluster-blam!- at this point compared to how sleekly D1 did it even before RoI) cosmetics is best for the game. I currently loathe the amount of "exotic" sparrows, emotes, ghost shells in the game right now; I mean with so many are they even exotic anymore? (What does the word "exotic" even entail anymore?) Are they just an exploitive cash grabbing ruse to entice oblivious people with ravenous aesthetic egos? Franchise just doesn't have the same spark as before with the season pass, all the prominent advertisements, and nauseating Eververse teases present in D2 just butchering the potential of the game. This Eververse debacle, it's a travesty really; hell it's part of the reason the franchise has plunged into an identity crisis.

When all the ornaments come from Eververse, no-one will care what other people look like.
-
It's hard for them. Being a lazy, spoiled, overrated, overpayed, uninspired studio without a sugar daddy to pay for their mistakes?
-
Destiny 2 is just a glorified mobile game.

It is the downfall of gaming.

4 AntwortenLittle did you know.. You are now advertising eververse for bungie. You talking about it here will draw more attention to eververse than that popup only a few people got.
-
8 AntwortenFine. If you want to start paying more than THREE DOLLARS A MONTH to play this game....then Eververse can go away. You do realize that the $10 you paid for Season of the Dawn won't even buy you ONE MONTH of server access in World of Warcraft, right? Of course not. Its much easier to be greedy, entitled and to complain.
-
You read those?
-
Its pretty sad but it was to be expected once they made the dumb decision of going F2P. Just gotta get used to it. Hopefully they add a way to get rid of those notifications. I'd buy silver for that and to finally get rid of those gambit notifications from my screen.

9 AntwortenAs much as I personally thought the exotic story mission was garbage, many people liked it. I love the gun. I might actually get the skin if I like it as well. Most of what is in Eververse..I just don't like.
-
Most of the skins make the guns more bland imo so I have no desire to purchase
-
1 AntwortenIt could be worse, it could be ads from Pepsi Co. for Mtn Dew and Doritos. Cause, that's actually in some games.
-
2 AntwortenWhy do you think exotics are so easy to get now? You can get them without even playing the game at the end of the season by buying levels. If exotics were actually exotic as was the case once upon a time, who would buy the skins?

Bungie has a right to make money
