Bungie totally ruins IB again - thanks for “listening”
Yep, it’s IB time and Bungle drops a hot stinky one with the ever changing and worthless armor 2 quest for the season - the magical “get kills with weapons that you would never use” grind.
Oh, it’s all about “learning” and “growing” having to run up and die to get shotgun or scout rifle kills. But the BEST part boys and girls is that while your zone control and total kills are cumulative - you can’t “build up” credits for the weapon kills until the quest slides down the sewer.
So you are treated to having to the 10 rocket launcher kills after you have probably played 10-12 matches. How fun!
Yes Bungle, just spit in our face please after we complained about the ability kill bounty - now you put the worst garbage yet - you are dependent on special ( shotgun kills) and heavy ( rocket launcher) which we all know spawns like popcorn in matches ( Sarc is ON)
At least the grenade launcher kills ( the heavy of last season) could be done with alternate ammo types - but rockets? Fight for the spawn!
Yep - it’s not IB. It’s insane risks to get the kills time when you are not playing -you are chasing stupid quest requirements
If you had halved the weapon bounty totals or let them build as we played - I would have no issue - but this is middle finger to the players
So a hearty middle finger to the A-Team that dreamed this up. ( the team with the hole too - not the one that is good)

The rocket part made me rage quit today. What part of fun is that exactly! I had wardcliff coil on and every single time a super from the other team took the heavy. So I changed the approach and went in super ready. Launch get 2 kills as I'm claiming the heavy spawn what do you know across the map gg screwed me again. Twenty games was enough for me. I quit trying

They dont do hard quest steps anymore cuz everyone pisses and moans about them. Now every quest step is mindless time investment steps. The heavy one is kinda annoying if you're on the crap team then getting heavy is tough. The quest showed me how much I hate scout rifles and how fast fire scouts always leave ppl with 5% health when you die.

I only did the stupid Quest on 1 character. Not worth the time on my other characters especially just to get the same armor 3 times. Good job Bungo

I'm so over these bullshit quests just to be able to turn in tokens and get armor that we have already had. I've done these quest everytime season now I'm just done now I'm just doing the bounties -blam!- the quest from here on out. I dont know about everyone else but I'm getting to the point where it's more of a chore to play this game than It is fun. In D1 I enjoyed Banner but now they have so many requirements just to get old shit. Most people I know dont have the time nore the will to do these iron banner quest on all three tunes so they dont even play anymore. I just dont understand what bungie is thinking when they implement things like this.

1 AntwortenEvery match is either a stomp or get stomped. I know I’m not the best player in the world, but I usually do pretty well. Stopped playing IB last season. It just isn’t fun to be honest.

2 AntwortenA step that requires you to get heavy 10 times. In a mode that puts you against laggers, and in at least 1/2 the cases today starts with less than a full team only on my side (4 against 6 once). F you too, Bungie.

5 AntwortenWouldn’t it be cool if we could get a middle finger emote. Think about it. We could emote Tess every time we’re in the tower and use it when trolling other players trying to take the heavy ammo. Bungie would make millions off of silver sales. A real win win for everyone.

1 AntwortenFinished the rocket portion of the quest and glad I don’t have to do that again (playing a dozen or so matches with everyone literally camping the heavy spawn can’t exactly be considered fun). The majority of my IB redemptions were basically crap so I guess I didn’t pay enough homage to the RNG gods.

6 AntwortenFor RL just run with Wardcliff. Only way to really guarantee RL kills. Tried doing it with other RLs and it got rather irritating quickly. That being said, that step was awful
