Let's start off with context - my friend Shin-14 was permanently banned from Destiny 2 for Aimbotting. I have played with him for the past few months non-stop crucible, gambit, the lot and with no sign of anything suspicious. He recently went for Not Forgotten, since the new comp changes make it much easier to achieve Legend. He played with clanmates the whole time and no carries or stomps just normal gameplay. However, my friend thinks someone from one of his comp games has mass reported him since people can take comp way too seriously and clearly the security team don't look into the accusations that much. My friend is Autistic and this game is all he plays and he doesn't have the capacity or the knowledge to even think about cheating in the first place he just plays the game for fun. All I am asking is that his case is re-looked at.

Bearbeitet von BNGHelp6: 12/14/2019 9:14:50 PMHi there. I believe our security team already replied to your friend here. As stated to the player, "the data leading to your ban has been reviewed and validated. Your ban will not be reversed." For more info on behavior that can lead to account bans visit https://bungie.net/bans

13 AntwortenDude, I played a match against him, he was obviously cheating (this I reported him)
-
1 AntwortenWhy would Bungie need/want to listen to him for anything? They have their own empirical data to warrant issuing the ban. People will lie to try to avoid the repercussion of various actions.

A few recently banned accounts can be seen here with BNGSecurity’s reply Banned accounts here I could show you so many. So, if you want to pursue your claim of innocence then you may end up with a very red face. PC users take special note to NO 2 for ban reasons. Doing something once / 1 time does not lead to a restriction or ban unless you are using code injecting software or cheating in some way. Connection based restrictions or bans you are given a warning about your connection first before any restriction or ban is places. Bungie investigates accounts before they hand out any restrictions or bans. After investigating your account, they found a reason. They will not remove this restriction/ban. On the occasions they do respond, the answer will give a date and a very brief reason which will be one of the following below. 1. Cheating 2. Any software being detected by Destiny while it's running. These could include Trainers, Aimbots, Auto-fire, Mods, Graphics Hacks, anything that injects code into games. DESTINY 2 PC AND THIRD-PARTY APPLICATION FEATURE COMPATIBILITY Also see Steam Service Agreement section 4. ONLINE CONDUCT, CHEATING, AND ILLEGAL BEHAVIOR 3. An unstable connection is having an impact on other players. RESTRICTIONS AND BANNING POLICIES You agreed to the license agreement. I am not a Bungie Representative

15 AntwortenTo be banned, anticheat will need to detect something, it then flags the account, a staff member then reviews and confirms the reason for the flag before manually placing the ban. In your "friend's" case, the case was re-reviewed and re-confirmed to be accurate. Sorry bud, your friend had a cheat running on their pc. You cannot be banned by reports only and in this case, it was confirmed that the aim cheat was detected not reported. 1 AntwortenAh-ah-ah. So much junk washing on these kind of threads just to bash and feel superior. Bungie, like all other gaming companies, is not 100% wrong-free, and unlike those who try to be transparent with their players, won't show any statistics. «You'v been banned for X. You need no proof, the community needs no proof, they'll trust our word, cause we can't be wrong, btw each ban is man-made, but each answer is copy & paste.» Come on now, just keep quiet if you just scout the help forum bashing at everyone. We played with the little fella, he's not "that good" and his stats didn't magically improve. From his stats and our time playing with him, he did not look like he was using cheats. When an average player is against bad players and still manage to be bottomfrag with poor accuracy, doesn't look like aimbot to me. Unless showed irrefutable proof, looks like the ban is just a glitch from a try-to-be punkbuster bot. (wouldn't suprise me since the game is free 2 play now, lots of hackers, too few manpower, they must have thought about using a bot).

3 AntwortenNo need. Srt manually investigated his account, found violations on tos, then manually placed the ban

1 AntwortenSure. We totally believe you. You're next.

When bungee band people like this it will not be over turned. He’s shit out of luck.
-
8 AntwortenReports mean nothing unless your friend was doing something he shouldn't be doing.
