The moment my clan gets divinity we are not touching this raid again.
While the first 3 encounters are totally fine, the last one is just a massive mess and extremely tedious!!!!
Who many mechanics must a fight have in order for it to be approved by datto ?
1) killing massive waves of mobs
2) not letting them pray to the relay
3) mobs have immune shields
4) you have to go to separate places to get motes from killing mobs
5) killing crits to spawn the portals
6) doing the same to bring people back
7) boss LITERALLY DELETING THE ARENA
8) you have to deal with the stupid tether to get to dps
9) dps is literally 5 seconds !!!
10) boss is almost only damaged by snipers (good luck console players)
11) try not to get one-shot by the Cyclops
problems:
1) motes from gambit: really ?? Motes ??
Everybody knows how you can't pick them up but instead of fixing it you bring them to the raid?
2) MASSIVE frame rate drops in the middle of the encounter because of the unreasonable amount of events happening!!
3) why is dps so short ?? So you don't hear datto and gladd saying we just 2 manned one phased it with blue sidearms ?? These guys are going to do that even if the dps is just 0.5 seconds!!
Why make the raid unreasonable for normal people ??
Most of my clan are adults that don't have the reactions needed to deal with all this shit despite us being very good raiders ... The season is almost over and we still can't kill this massive jerk!!

So we did finish it now so that answers to everyone saying you guys aren't good enough.
Still, the problems did persist untill the end with the frame rates and the tether bugs

Once you get the mechanics down it’s pretty easy imo. Frame rate issues on console are a different story lol

Designate two people to rebuild it when it's destroyed if it's possible to do with two people. Activate both tethers for boss dps. It'll be much easier than only doing a single tether. Killing ads is easy. Just tap shields to remove them if you have the buff, they don't come back. If you have to bodyblock the goblins if you don't quite have a rebuff yet then do it. Cyclops are easily dealt with as long as you pay attention. Raids are not meant to be mindless. If you want a boss with little to no mechanics, then play strikes. Also, why are snipers a bad thing? For a few months before shadowkeep, it was only Grenade launchers, but you needed specifics to do good dps. Now, tranquility, an easily farmable Sniper, is top tier as well. And Whisper, DARCI, or other Grenade launchers, regardless of roll now, are the best. We have variety now. The raid is not very mechanic heavy, and literally spells out the mechanics across the other encounters.

Sufficient boss DPS What this raid does not require is good survivability. I wouldn't call any of these waves 'massive'. Unfortunately the second is limited to just a few options, so you just got to go get them. The first one, which you are likely struggling with, is just focus and team coodination. Focus on learning the in and out. A little discussion can go a long way given the windows for execution are rather tight. Final Boss Portal = Cyclops (same side) = panel lost Build panels between add waves after your team jumps through Split up after jumping through portal to speed up collection (shotgun/lmg work well). Stagger more delivery if your team is slow so you still have buff. Equip mods for relay defender. WIN This raid requires execution by nearly all players. It feels punishing until you get it down. But once you do, it's a breeze. Best approach is to take it wlpiece by piece walking it through slowly. And if you tether. Just get in the bloody vex milk. So many try to avoid damage just end up causing more issues.

1 AntwortenMy first few times I thought it was over complicated too. But after figuring out that I needed to use armor that can slot the Relay Defender mods, things fell into place. Got my 2nd completion today, last week I got divinity, and I have a full set of raid armor, along with a couple god roll weapons. Just keep your head up and keep practicing. You'll get it done eventually.
