Bungie,
Understand what happens when you nerf favorite guns. The community goes into an outrage and I can assure you that it’s the same with recluse. We all know there will be a day when a nerf happens and it’s reign will come to end, but you will know when it feels right to make that happen. When you introduce another legendary pve gun of destruction. Maybe pvp can use a few tweaks but it honestly doesn’t bother me. I’m sure it bothers others. And guys if you want the nerf I understand it’s overpowered but it’s works in pve right now. For the PvP guys hang on a little longer.
Thanks and Best,
Lion

Need will kill recluse on console. Pvp no big deal.do more players now play in pvp that seems to be bungies focus.

The nerf isn’t even that bad lol.

THIS IS SO SAD. have you unlocked exit strategy? if not quit complaining. recluses nerf is much needed. its LITERALLY all ppl use in pvp because of is shear power. its a crutch for people that cant hit headshots. and its VERY clear that people dont understand HOW and what master of arms actually does. when the perk procs it makes ALL shots ( even to the toe) heashot damage. THAT IS BROKEN. learn to aim your weapon annd quit crying. MOA will still give a damage buff that is just as strong if not stronger than kill clip (which is ridiculous in the first place). not to mention it procs of any kill with any weapon. its far too strong and has become a serious problem in PVP. We REAL destiny player require balance that makes games fair. and honestly recluse with its range and power is just an unfair weapon and forces people like me that have TONS of other guns i want to use but they are unviable due to have broken recluse is. this is what they want to avoid is forcing people to use specific guns to compete. if you want that experience there is a new call of duty game out. go play that and use the M4. otherwise you get NO sympathy from any skilled player. GIT GUD OR GTFO.

They are gonna nerf it. And it looks like they didn't over nerf it either. Looks like they are going to make people have to actually hit crits, thus implementing a skill gap while maintaining a similar damage output. On paper, looks like a solid nerf. Gun is still going to be the best PvE option out of HCs, autos, and SMGs. It still isn't going to require any risk to the user or subclass synergy to be good either. Still going to shred and it's still going to be easy. The biggest thing now is energy SMGs with kill clip, multikill clip, and swashbucker will actually be able to compete. That's huge. Swashbucker x5 already makes Exit Stradegy to more precision damage than Recluse, but Recluse has the huge body shot buff that made it so much better. This slight nerf maintains the identity, optimal lethality, and usability of the gun while allowing others to shine. I'm all for it. (This is all on paper of course. We'll have to wait until next season to know for sure.)

12 AntwortenWhat a twab !! So happy they finally nerfed recluse and one eyed...

bungie gives quests for a reason they make it hard for players and when they have recluse ppl get satisfied but just to get it nerfed i think if they nerf the o.p weaps they should make quests easier then they r cuz its BS to work hard for something and for what to be a normal weapon...im sorry but for me its BS nerfing recluse they shouldnt nerf hard quest cuz for some ppl they r hard and sweaty and you guys wants us te be satisfied so why nerfing stuff. you make raids harder + nerfing the gunz we can count on for those raids make up your minds wit nerfing guns and making raid hard its 1 or the other not both...thx...
-
Oooh, so who going to tell them?
-
1 AntwortenIf Recluse isn't as good as Bungie are stating, then surely the nerf isn't an issue? You can just use any of the other legendaries with 0.4 ttk and the same body shot/headshot damage that tears through shields no matter the element. Right? The more posts that are made stating not to nerf it, just prove that it is overpowered and a massive crutch for a lot of players.

I am by no means a great player but i believe im pretty damn decent. Getting to fabled was not as hard as what i read online it would be. Last season my made it to fabled 3. This season i made it to mythic 3 pretty easily thanks to the freelance mode. I did my own fair bit of carrying my team and got carried pretty damn hard sometimes too. If you cant get it this season of comp then honestly give the controls to your mom cause that is awful im sorry. I may never get to legend tho cause when i was at most 4 wins away o just dropped like a rock to mythic 2. So you know you win some, you lose some.....and you may lose a lot of some.

I have a friend who I saw had 50,000+ tracked PvE kills on his Recluse, and I kind of just felt bad for him when I read that.
-
Honestly hate recluse, but we're practically forced to use it in endgame because if you dont, you're putting yourself at a huge disadvantage.

Dang. You know you struck a nerve when there's 500 comments and 0 upvotes😂

Too late now.

I remember the days of gaming when a outrageously overpowered gun was deemed overpowered by all and could be nerfed without criticizing the devs for wants the game to avoid power creep and not limit min max style players. Now man wtf gun was broken strong even dwarfing a raid exotic designed to do the same thing. I’ll never understand the argument of those who want power creep to take off running

From a pvp player's perspective: This gun is stupid and requires no skill to get kills because you get a kill with any weapon and then you have a 0.47 ttk within it's effective range, ON BODYSHOTS. From a pvp player's pve perspective: This gun is stupid and outclasses all other primaries in its slot on every level, and makes all other smgs irrelevant. When you can compare entire categories of primaries to a single weapon in a single category in a single slot, then there is something wrong with that particular weapon. It's not something that just pvp players are complaining about. Every times I do a raid, I feel like the only and best option to run as a primary is recluse. I don't want to be the reason my team wipes due to not being able to clear adds as well as my teammates so I better run the best option for the job.

Well I don’t even have it yet 😂😂 stopped playing awhile ago but started again on the pc.

Bearbeitet von TwoFiveOne_: 11/15/2019 3:16:10 AMYeah, it's definitely a favorite. You know why? Because it has been by far the best gun in both pvp and pve since season of the drifter. 9-ish months of being the absolute top of the meta. I've seen so many reviews of guns in pve that simply said "it's good, but recluse is better." Or "it's a great gun, but recluse still exists." There's not much of a reason to equip any other gun in most pve activities. I saw a statistic for the most used energy weapons in pit of heresy. In second was riskrunner, at 2% clears. Recluse was first. At 92%. And given how easy it is to get these days it hardly feels special anymore. The damage bonus equalizes body and headshot damage, giving it a lightning fast ttk of 0.47 seconds, only topped by the last word if I'm not mistaken. The difference is that recluse can dump all its shots into your gut and kill incredibly quick. Now all that aside, recluse has been tolerable. There are ways around it, but you can't deny the superiority it has had for the 9 months since season of the drifter. I'm ready for a change of scenery. I'm ready for other weapons to be given a chance. I want to be surprised by what kills me, for a new meta to form.

7 AntwortenNerf it into the ground or lock it out of quickplay and Iron Banner

When you start seeing post that say "must have recluse", then worry! That seems to get the nerf train a'rollin!
-
3 AntwortenMakes the game far too easy. Having a single gun that is so clearly set above the dozens upon dozens of other choices is a design flaw.

10 AntwortenBearbeitet von michael: 11/14/2019 2:54:53 AMIt doesnt even bother me that much in PvP. Its annoying but whatever I guess. But when a new PvE activity comes out and over 90% of weapon usage is recluse there is a glaring issue with balance. I knew from the day it came out that recluse was the single best gun ever introduced to destiny and would overshadow everything else until it was nerfed. Just look at primary weapon variety pre-season of the drifter. People were grinding forges for a drop mag/kill clip/surrounded/rampage/outlaw etc kindled orchid which was cool because it was the first hand cannon to be able to roll both rampage and kill clip at once. Nation of beasts was sought after for the curated roll with outlaw firefly plus random rolls could have outlaw rampage. Pulse rifles like go figure and blast furnace with outlaw/feeding frenzy and kill clip/rampage were very strong, my outlaw kill clip go figure still has like 8000 kills. Midnight coup was good because it was outlaw rampage on a 150. But then recluse came and all those guns just went straight to the trash. They are still good but relative to recluse it just does it all better except I guess range. People thought the outlaw/kill clip/rampage PvE meta was stale but had no idea that THIS is what we would have for the following several months. “Dont use it if it bothers you so much” - and purposefully handicap myself and bring my team down just to make a point or have moral high ground or whatever? Use something else always knowing that there is a weapon in my inventory that does the job 30x better? I know there will always be a meta but recluse is the furthest outlier this game has seen in years. . .
-
3 AntwortenIt needs a nerf. It's the easiest weapon to use both in pve and pvp. No risk with a high reward. It feels like putting yourself in a handicap when not using it. And while I'm crying for nerfs here let's finally adjust fusion rifles, mainly erentil, wizened rebuke and jötunn.
