Crucible, especially 6v6 permutations, are absolutely terrible- there is no destination for casual, enjoyable crucible.

How is this not getting more attention- legitimately everyone I played with regularly has abandoned the crucible and thereby the game due to these debilitating changes.

1 AntwortenSo which playlists actually have sbmm? Cause iron banner is the only one that says 'prefers similarly skilled players'
-
i dont think you know what you're talking about, because SBMM is the only reason casual PVP exists at all. If you're rating PVP solely on Iron Banner, you need a dose of common sense. Iron Banner is the sweat HEAVEN.

Bearbeitet von Lord_Shar: 11/12/2019 7:29:54 PMWait a sec... I'm a total scrub (look at my K/D), yet I made it to fabled 2 weeks ago, and now I have a NF in my energy slot (and a serious case of carpal tunnel in the left wrist). SBMM combined with the solo queue is what made it possible.

9 Antwortenwhat? this makes no sense at all. SBMM is made for casuals, it protects them for getting absolutely destroyed by people better then them and forces the better people to actually play people of relative skill. Sorry you can't destroy noobs anymore, sucks actually playing people as good as you doesn't it?
-
Nope....keep your mountaintop/NF 6 stack pub stomps out of our casual PvP.
-
The only people having problems with SBMM are the sweaties because they get matched up against other sweaties. For the rest of us, it's pretty ok. Lag is there but it's not game breaking and is actually expected in a P2P setting. And trust me as far as Destiny is concerned there's no real difference between SBMM and CBMM for lag. Try playing Classic Mix which is CBMM and you'll see similar amount of lag. People complain about SBMM for the sole reason that they are getting matched against people of similar skill and they can't have fun stomping.
-
Nah, keep it on, maybe even dial it up a bit. Just to see the sweats and streamers whine.
-
Bearbeitet von Jawiha: 11/7/2019 8:08:57 AMKeep SBMM.

Bearbeitet von Lucozade85: 11/7/2019 12:31:22 PMNo. Removing SBMM will just make games sweaty for everyone else. Let the pubstompers face pubstompers. They have been doing it for years and now expect people they have been pubstomping to feel sorry for them? I have been against those sweaty teams and it's enough to stop average players like me from wanting to play again. Crucible is better now than it has ever been, especially with the freelance survival playlist. Is SBMM perfect? No, but it's a lot better than CBMM in my experience. Turn the level of SBMM up to 11.

2 AntwortenToo bad this thread has died down. It was nice reading all the elitist scrubs whining about not have a freebie pub stomp any more to pad their stats and "relax". Keep SBMM
-
4 AntwortenWhy do none of the good players understand this basic concept. If I play people at my skill level it is not easy and casual and blah blah. All the good players think that since they have it easy and can stomp players at my skill level then that's how all games are for us. Just NO!! Facing players of OUR skill level makes the games competitive just like when you face players of your skill level! SBMM does NOT make it easy for us and hard for you! Remember competition, sweaty, whatever you want to call it is subjective! I have to TRY to win against people of my skill level! It's not casual or easy!
-
5 AntwortenThe majority of players are average-below average and for them SBMM provides more consistent gameplay match to match. Is it perfect. Hell no. Beat downs still occur regularly. BUT far less than when CBMM is in place. The majority prefers SBMM. You do not. Goodbye, or put on your big boy sweat pants. It’s easier to cry on the Forum though.
-
Awww...no more stomping out scrubs... Keep SBMM.

Bearbeitet von SteveSq: 11/7/2019 12:25:43 PMTrue Vanguard complaining about SBMM?!?!? LMAO....that falls in the same category of Slayerage whining about how easy things are in PvE. Of course he's not going to like who he's matched against because he's matched against other players of his skill level. It's just another case of those who had so much 'fun time' crapping on lower skilled players complaining they can't pub stomp again.
-
5 AntwortenPvp is in its best state for a long time, sbmm has been a god send and matches are much more enjoyable now 👍🏻
-
Sorry you can’t pubstomp people and actually play people close to your skill level? Sorry the game is a challenge? Isn’t that what people wanted?
-
2 AntwortenNot getting much traction. Your request to pubstomb, didnt go over too well. Lol @ the upvotes...wait what upvotes?
-
22 AntwortenI genuinely don't understand why people would not want sbmm, unless of course just so they can run stacked and stomp noobs. Sorry you have to actually play people the same skill level as yourself.
-
8 AntwortenOnly people complaining about sbmm are the high skilled players. Now that they can’t pub stomp they don’t find it fun. I like sbmm I feel the matches are fairly even and I don’t run into teams like this. You don’t get better by getting stomped that’s bull you get better by playing close matches that make you learn from the close loses to correct small things.

3 AntwortenThe butthurt livestock are real in this thread lmao Simple facts if you were trash under cbmm you are trash period, if under sbmm is the only way you can go positive dont be fooled and think you're suddenly as good as anyone else - you're merely seeing what life is like inside papi bungos protective bubble sjw safe space Players should play each other across the board - not get rewarded for being trash, back in halo you sank or swam under social playlists - guess the adults of today need extra helping hands from the game devs lmao Pretty sad.

8 AntwortenNo. Right now I’m not laying Iron Banner, and I’m sure player numbers are low. I have now played three matches in a row. All I’m seeing are god-tier players with every pinnacle weapon in the game. Not Forgotten. Recluse. The sniper from last season. All of whom are mobbing up and just steamrolling around the map. THIS is what Quickplay felt like for average players last season. This kind of obnoxious play experience is what drives players out of a playlist and you wind up with SBMM anyway. Because average players avoid it like a rash. This is how Trials died.

34 AntwortenTV is my favorite Crucible player, and I respect what he says, but he's wrong on this one. The thought process is hypocritical. How, you ask? Think of it this way: A "veteran" (good) crucible player wants to play in a casual setting, so they go into Classic Mix, but are met with other people attempting to stat farm and running meta loadouts against casuals. This leads to the Classic playlist-which is meant to be casual-turning into them sweating for wins. They want SBMM removed from other modes to free up the flow of players and give them more casual options. The problem? This wouldn't make Crucible casual, it would just make it so that casual players have to deal with sweats. If the roles are reversed, its the "vets" who get to play against casuals, and that is what they want--a mode where they can rip kids apart because it isn't a sweatfest. However, the casual players don't get to have a casual experience. Instead, they're constantly matched against the vets, and its the casual players who have to try hard, but will ultimately end up defeated. What TV--and players sharing the opinion of the op--are asking for is to make crucible easy for them and hard on casual players. The reason this happens comes down to mindset. Sweats who only run metas want to face easy competition, so they can post good numbers without trying very hard. This is why Classic is a sweatfest right now--its not because its the only option to try for casual play, but because the players who want to face casuals are running in there with their meta loadouts trying to ape mediocre players. When two teams are doing this and are paired, it becomes a "try-hard" situation. In reality, the way to fix this would be to have the good players stop running try-hard loadouts and actually playing casually---right now, they're taking try-hard loadouts and playstyles into comp and attempting to play a casual game, which doesn't work.

I haven’t notice a difference honestly

1 AntwortenTry Rumble

I say make it stronger. Whenever I play the teams are almost never evenly matched, and if they are it’s more like 1 or 2 good players on each team with the rest being below average, meaning those 1-2 players have to carry their team every single game. You know how fun it is having to try ever single game just so your team stands a chance? Not very fun. Harder sbmm means Id still have to put effort to win, but not as much and I could be more relaxed.
-
1 Antwortencbmm - varied games. sbmm - sweats only for high tier players at least, they arent guilty of a crime and deserve seperate matchmaking, in most parts of the world improving you skill is encouraged not punished...
