Hunter *hop* *hop*

I'm biased, I hate PvP regardless but I voted yes. In the grand scheme of the 5 years of Destiny PvP it's in a decent spot, I don't feel like one single gun is wrecking me constantly. I can't recall the last time I logged into guardian.gg and didn't see a single weapon over 10% meta.

3 AntwortenHand cannon nerf has ruined what was my favorite activity. Now I just do iron banner now that I’m done with comp

It's the fact there is only one non sbmm mode. So you either get sbmm (which is a cluster in 6v6 as it is) or you go to class mix which is even sweatier cause that's where people looking to stat farm and pub stomp go. Then obviously you have the few outliers like mountaintop, recluse, OEM that need some balancing. Most weapons are in a good place though

1 AntwortenGive me competitve rumble and I will be happier.

1 AntwortenI like playing Destiny 2 in general. It's the hypocrisy of the community I can't stand. Community: "we're underpowered! Buff more stuff" Bungie: "Okay, here you go" *hands us Forsaken* Community: "Everything can kill us too fast! Pull out the nerf crutch"
-
It’s just titans shoulder charging and hunters mashing their jump button. It’s always been like this.

Full disclosure I'm primarily a PvE guy. No one is ever happy with the crucible. Bungie should either ignore the crucible, make fun weapons, and let the crucible be the burning mess that it always is. OR Stop making PvE content and only focus on the crucible since it takes soo much time and effort to balance. They've tried again and again to balance both PvE and PvP together and it just hasn't worked. The definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing and expect different results.

Bearbeitet von Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 11/6/2019 4:33:26 PMNo because it doesn’t exist solely for the sake of competition. It’s a bunch of people running around completing personal objectives for many and various reasons despite being on a team. Which makes no sense. Also, it’s unbalanced. Some classes are severely lacking in certain areas where others excel very much. Which is fine in a PvE environment but not in a PvP environment where everyone’s arbitrary pursuits are the same. Destiny PvP would be infinitely better if it was its own thing with loadouts. OR... at the very least, Comp should be the only competitive mode and there should be no random pursuits that deter people from using what they’re best with. Then there should also be a drop-in/drop-out arena mode with no victory conditions if Bungie insists(which they apparently do) that people complete random PvP objectives for whatever reason.

it should be better.

I am. It's nice to be shot by other guns finally besides ep shotty and bygones. Seems most guns are viable and I can use what I like. I made legend in survival for first time. I am having fun again in quick play. Last year I really did not like the cruc. I not running into the 6 team mountain top sweat fest like last season

Bearbeitet von Roach: 11/6/2019 4:08:59 PMStarted the IB quest and I am tired of the Crucible after about eight games. Just got two shotted by a 843 toting a MIDA .. I am 965 and wondering how that happened. Add in the pinnacle weapons like Randy's and Recluse just being the meta I am just done. I only play Crucible for IB and now I am going to not even bother with that. Especially after the quest requires me to, yet again, jump through the Bungie hoops. The connections are dog toffee and games are either laggy, sweaty or both. "Play your way" ?? .. Lies.
-
As mentioned by many people, because there is only 1 connection based mode it makes all games sweat fests. Sbmm has no place in a casual pvp game except in comp. I do not want to sweat my balls off in every game.

Yes and no.

Still want slower ttk

6 AntwortenSkillbased matchmaking in casual playlists except one which makes casual Classic Mix sweatier than Survival. No good loot to chase No Endgame. Trials.... Too much broken/cheesy stuff. OEM,Recluse etc. Skillgap not big enough.

2 AntwortenMatch making should be more fair. There should be no points resets and points cap in survival. This way players with a NF will never play against players who don't have one, unless they drop far back because they got carried. Servers should improve. Connection of some players with bad internet influence the game way too much. Even all these connection differences make it tough to play because every opponent has a different response time. There is no consistency. Last thing I would change is boost the damage and make Jotunn a power weapon, remove backup plan from the slow charging high impact fusion guns, reduce range on shotguns or make every shotgun a slug shotgun.

I really dont know if Ive ever been happy with the state of crucible in Destiny. More that I have been happy with the people I got to the lighthouse with, or the few outplays I might make here and there. The gunplay and gameplay and all that is super fun. But if you play crucible for more than 2 matches the problems are obvious. Its a mess. It's always been a mess. It's impossible for them to balance it with all the pve stuff, and toouch work to make them seperate. Last night I killed a dude with Wizened Rebuke so far away, I felt wierd about it. One example.
Have a reason(s) why you like / don't like it? Comment about it, you can't help improve the game by doing nothing.
I’m not seeing the problem. I’m enjoying playing crucible, granted there are occasional rage moments from deaths due to lack of strategy or skill.

1 AntwortenWhat ive been hearing around on youtube D2 channels is that there are numerous cheaters in comp. That in and of itself is a huge detriment to the grind and play of comp.

I’m going to be honest, Bungie needs new people who actually have experience in RPG’s. This game has so much potential and Bungie is failing it every way with the loot, the PvP/PvE styles, and most of all the damn story.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von C1B3D: 11/6/2019 7:37:18 AMThe current Crucible is the worst PvP experience on the market. Awful map design, a total joke of a balance and server quality that is 1/10, combined with constant meta changes that make the experience worse. When i like 1 specific loadout, i should be able to use it (my loadout should not be gutted from S Tier to D Tier) like 1 year later, and not like forced to use a Pulse or Scout because Bungie trying to refresh the experience. You want a refresh? Than create new content, new modes, maps, new interesting Exotics, new abilities and skill trees updates with tons of new stuff, the game should offer me new ways to play, not force them upon me. Oh no, how could i even bring that up, we talking about Bungie, they need like 2 Years to even create 1 new idea.

Too much lag/ delay overal, even in Classic Mix Mode (which is supposed to be CBMM). 150/ 150 d/u fiber optics, 0 packet loss, my PS4 has 8ms ping to speedtest, 5 meters cable, Netgear Nighthawk gaming Pro router.

Lobsided matchmaking Done, thats it

So far so good, my only concern is Bungie algorithms think that matching me up with guys from over the pond is a good idea. I'm getting two tapped on initial gunfights and my opponents are taking little to no damage. This is not good when my connection is green.
