WASHINGTON, D.C.—Elizabeth Warren has come under scrutiny for not revealing the hard facts about her medicare for all plan.
But today, she finally unveiled her plan: paying for medical care for everyone in the nation with the power of love and friendship.
"Many people have asked how I'm going to pay for my $52 trillion plan," she said in a speech Friday. "Here's how we're going to do it: with love, friendship, rainbows, and glitter."
"By the power of loving one another, we can overcome hardship and also mathematical impossibilities."
One reporter grilled Warren on her plan: "This seems far-fetched. How are you actually going to get this to work?" the journalist asked.
Tearing up, Warren replied, "Love. Dreams. Imagination. Believe in yourself. You can do anything. Friendship is the key. Vote Warren!"
The journalist quickly apologized for asking the question and asked if she could take a selfie with Warren.
>the national debt is currently over 22 trillion dollars.
>the government seems incapable of passing a budget that doesnt involve massive borrowing aka more debt.
>this cant go on forever. It simply cant. We cant simply expect the rest of the world to lend us more and more money until the end of time for the same reason you cant use a credit card as if it's a license to print money.
>if the federal government were to actually shutdown, and I don't mean like the little baby shutdowns of certain agencies that we've had I'm talking a real, no shit shutdown imagine the shitshow that would ensue if the entire population was DEPENDANT on the federal government for their healthcare.
>you know, because you blew up the private healthcare system for the government run option.
Therefore, even if you can convince me that socialism isnt inherently evil (it is) or that socialized medicine isnt inherently going to be shitty (it is) it is beyond asinine, to pretend that we can afford to do this.
Anything mathematically unsustainable will eventually end. Tick tock tick tock.

9 AntwortenThe idea that socialism is "evil" is just hilarious to me. I always laugh when I hear that shit in attack ads. Those damn evil liberals, trying to ensure citizens can afford to go to the fucking hospital. Tell me, what's your thought process here? Or are you just repeating what you heard on TV?

2 AntwortenHonestly, I don't understand how any of these "for all" plans can be fiscally viable. Being that 40M+ have enrolled in ACA, it seems most logical to keep what's in place and simply open up various state marketplaces to anyone enrolled.

What's trippy as -blam!- is that did a bunch of work around bankruptcy law. Being in Mass, I'm glad we get to share this one with the rest of the country 🤣

For those of y’all too young to remember, this is Warren’s version of what Pelosi pulled when pushing the disaster that was the ACA or more commonly known Obamacare on a the public. “We have to pass it to see what’s in it.” Pelosi 2009 “Just close your eyes and vote for me, don’t worry about the details of yet another disastrous health care plan from Democrats!” Warren 2019

2 Antworten52 trillion dollars is insane. If you tax the top 1% of all their money, I don't think you could pay that off

These asshat politicians will never fix it as long as we are all too busy pissing & moaning about what liberals & conservatives, Republicans & Democrats are doing. They have us divided to completely, that we can't put aside our own shit to demand better from them. Everytime the President does something that people get outraged over, the only thing I can ask myself is: "What is happening behind the scenes that this is diverting our attention form?" Then when I say that, oh hey, I must be a conspiracy theorist or I am siding with this side or that side, so people still aren't even trying to see what might truly be happening. This reminds me of Krishna's Prophet and his FET. Everyone screamed and yelled and insulted everyone, but no one thought about one simple thing. What did it matter? What really changed for our day to day if it was true that the Earth was flat? So we are argue and cry about stupid shit that doesn't matter when we have things that have serious weight, like a stupidly insane debt. Politicians writing their own checks. Actual homeless issues. Mental issues seemingly on the rise. Cost of living going up faster than decent rates of pay are going up. Our jobs going to other countries and use still paying the same high costs as if it was made here, so that CEO's can have platinum lined swimming pools instead of gold lined swimming pools. When this ends and folks are all standing around trying to pass the blame, if I am still alive, I am going to laugh and remind everyone I see that it was all our faults, because we could not put aside our shit to make things right, that we gave up everything in hopes that the people who have been assr@ping the American people for decades, would do the right thing for us while we continued to be lazy and fight each other. Then I will be killed for being that reminder & I won't have to worry about shit any longer.

1 AntwortenLast time I was on this site was like 3 or 4 years ago at the peak of people like Krishna's Prophet and like and I left at the release of destiny 2. I come back to see how my old community was holding up, and all I see Is your ass still posting shit like this. What do you do for a living, is there any other less inactive community you can post this on? What sort of attention are you hoping to get from this? You are a relic of an age long since past on this forum. I admire your persistence though, ECCHO SIERRA.
