I’m late, but I finally got Luna
So I’m pretty average in pvp at best, maybe slightly above, so I never thought I could actually get this done
But with the chances to comp, I decided to give it a try.
Not only did I get Luna, I also got Mtop and Redrix as well.
I was hoping to get NF, but once I got to mythic, comp got EXTREMELY stressful and I don’t think I can deal with it anymore. I was bouncing back and forth between Mythic 1 & 2. I am glad tho as this is the furthest I’ve ever got in comp.
Just wanted to share. If I can do it, y’all can to. Get your Luna’s!

4 AntwortenThanks to the changes to Comp I finally got my Luna, Recluse and Mountaintop. To be perfectly honest... there was no joy..... just relief that the comp nightmare was over. I'm still super bitter about how those quests were setup. I think the changes to comp are good and are long overdue.

The problem with Mythic III is the true skill system....... If you win your first match you get 10 points until you get a streak going which is hard because its RNG match making. I have played with a ton of people and wonder how they even got to 4500 with all the stupid things they do in a match. Also if you lose a game you drop 70-100 points even if your at the top of the leader board. Bungie advertised the true sill system as the game knowing your individual skill but I think that is BS. The game still assigns a standard loss of points and the skill level of people at 4500 makes me wonder if they really are Mythic III level skill in the first place. A solution would to be if your at the top of the leader board and your team loses you as an individual don't lose points because of your good play. You don't go up but you don't go down either. The would encourage good play and keep you from being a lone wolf too because if your team doesn't win you don't go up.

2 AntwortenWell done OP, your post actually inspired me and I'm now on step 3 for the Luna's quest (200 Solar Kills), though getting extremely bad matches *sigh*... slowly slowly I guess but determined to get there, just lots of breaks between matches to relax and recover "it's just a game Squiz it's just a game" LOL

Congratulations! Also not being able to get not forgotten is fine the stress is up there. It is extremely stressful because you lose more than you gain and being on the verge of legend and dropping hurts.

First crucible gun I ever got was Redrix Broadsword. Obviously doable for everyone, but a grind. I got Lunas and Recluse thanks to The Revelry (I spammed skip grenades hardcore to get to fabled). I got Revoker legit. I got Randy’s Throwing Knife legit. I just went after and achieved Mountaintop due to momentum control meaning the grenade launcher kills were easy (i’d already reached fabled this season). I wouldn’t have bothered otherwise. I’m glad these opportunities came up for me to achieve something in the game and getting me to play crucible when I normally wouldn’t.

Congrats dude. Everyone has their own goals they're working towards at their own pace. I hit Legend solo this season, which was fun, and now I'm just waiting for Season 9 so I can hit Legend one more time and grab myself that Unbroken title.

Same ! I got recluse,mountain top & lunas howl all at once when I hit fabled,I'm not good at pvp at all ! To be honest I was ready to struggle to hit fabled,I got rolled about 5 games the rest were fair fights,now is the time to go for fabled if you haven't already.

1 AntwortenWish you could of had it when it was Lunas Howl... it’s merely a shell of its former self. It’s decent now, but not a pinnacle weapon by any means. Better get Recluse before they crush that too... I’m seeing more and more cry babies saying it needs a nerf.

You’re not late at all. You got these weapons at the right time for you to do so. It wasn’t easy, I’m sure at times it wasn’t even fun. You persevered and overcame the challenge and you did it. Congrats to you !

6 AntwortenCongrats though if you were average and especially if you were above average at pvp you could have gotten luna at any time during any of the previous seasons. 2100 has always been manageable for average players
