Everything costs silver or an enormous amount of bright dust. That f**king sucks ass. Last year you could get things from event by just playing the game but now? Nah, lets make everyone pay for it yea why not... It was much better last year

Yo has anyone seen a pearlescent marble blue bounce ball around here??? It’s about yea big and sucks at bouncing. I remember having it here but I can’t find it anywhere else😔 Any help is appreciated
-
Now they have that f2p option is why it was changed.

1 AntwortenI tried to warn people during the Solstice but got blown up by the white knight downvotes. The first thing Bungie did after tossing Activision overboard was kill engrams and start bleeding all our bright dust away. What a joke.

10 AntwortenBearbeitet von TheShadow-cali: 10/30/2019 1:03:02 PMNo, because Bungie won't make money that way.
It's selfish, but nothing we can do about the higher-up's greed.
Edit: Bungie said, how can we make money without having to work? Remove the matrix Remove event engrams Remove just running activities collecting bright engrams Jack up the cost to buy items with silver Jack up the cost for hand-picked items for bright dust Limit how bright dust is acquired Added a lot of new items to Everevrse that they can't buy with bright dust See, we're being generous and showing them the appreciation for all the money they forked over in the last 5 years. They should thank us for thinking about them.
-
9 AntwortenLast year (well, only months ago) we still had bounties for bright dust. How quickly times change. "Activision were the problem" Oh how I wish those people were true
-
3 AntwortenEveryone in here saying it's greed has no idea. It's not greed, it's a business. Bungie is an enormous studio, they've got very high overheads. They are not stockpiling money, which is what's suggested when you're falling them greedy. If you want to play a game that's ever evolving with regular updates and events etc, it needs funding. Simple as that.
-
Every time I come to the forums and see posts like this it only reaffirms my decision to quit playing the game. Everything I was sick of is still very clearly present in the game, and I don't even have to play it in order to see that thanks to these forums.
-
6 AntwortenI disagree. Bungie doesn't have the funds they use to. They half rely in us to give them a hand. Is it expensive? Sure. But without us there is no future for Destiny. Now that sucks ass. We need to help- any way we can.
-
10 AntwortenSince they are calling it "free to play" they can now charge more for everything. A giant slap in the face to those players who have spent hundreds of dollars on the game so far. Nothing has changed for the players who have been paying since the beginning. We are still buying the NOT FREE expansions. We are still paying for everything and now we are expected to pay even more because bungie is giving away the year one content. None of this would be an issue if this was actually a free to play game. I would be happy to give the developer some money here and there if I didn't pay for the game. That's not the case I have paid for the game and all expansions. Stop treating eververse like a real free to play store!

6 AntwortenHell just bring back bright engrams was kinda stupid to remove them even if they’re loot from the prior year idc they were nice little bonuses
-
2 Antwortenonly if they don't also fill the engrams with crap. I don't want 20 new crap legendary ghost shells, sparrows and ships each season that are uninspired, under performing rng buffers. The problem with engrams is it requires them to dilute the pool in order to remain profitable, otherwise its not worth it for them to even make the stuff.
-
5 AntwortenIt's not gonna happen they got greedy and I don't think we will see bright engrams at all anymore unless something changes at bungie
-
13 AntwortenThey can’t for legal reasons. Odd that it seems people who want to complain about loot boxes don’t keep up with the laws being passed about them.
-
6 AntwortenBungie , why can't we earn engrams that Eva could decrypt for us ? They could contain candy , chocolate strange coins , every once in a while it could drop a legendary something . By the way , the prices of Tess are high , I have played free to play games (WOT , Exile) had fun with both games even spent my own money on both games . Why did I do such a thing ? Reasonable prices . In my opinion and please remember this is just my opinion , if you would cut prices by 45% to 50% you would sell more , just one old man gamers opinion (old according to my son and maybe the gray hair )🙄
-
12 AntwortenI understand you game is free in all but once again you have screwed all your veterans why in the hell would you make every item in this event sold for silver was my 60 bucks not enough for you Bungie, your turning into greed -blam!-, I know you don't truly give a shit about my comment or concerns but if the next event is like this you can expect me and my entire fireteam to call it quits with you,
-
1 AntwortenWell, it's festival of the cost
-
1 AntwortenFestival of the Cost V2
-
1 AntwortenAgreed, being told to part with money or bright dust if you want any event stuff is a bit rubbish. Either bring the engrams back for events or put the loot in Eva's goody bags you can buy for candy/ chocolate coins
-
12 Antwortenwell the game did become free since then, so i guess they have justification
-
4 AntwortenBright engrams should still be earned when you level up.
-
1 AntwortenThe lack of nostalgic engrams and ability to collect bright dust is terrible. The season pass grants 19 engrams and 400 bright dust, that's not even enough to purchase a transmat effect. If you want to grind out the bounties, sure you can get about 2/3000, but with the price of items available...its barely worth it. Most players that have been playing regularly since even Forsaken will have most of the sparrows, ghosts, transmat effects ect available from eververse lately. Also let's talk about the nostalgic engrams, 19 from pass, out of that, 1 exotic emote, 3 dupe legendary ships and 2 dupe ghosts, the rest were blue transmat effects....not even legendary effects but blue.

4 AntwortenLast years event was great, I loved earning bright engrams. This one leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Bright dust is harder to earn than ever, so free loot is not going to happen. The only real free thing worth getting is the Werewolf, which is a huge shame. This event is basically an excuse to give Bungie money. I would have happily bought a few things from Eververse if there were other things to earn in this event. Knowing it's all locked behind my wallet is just... Despicable.

5 AntwortenFor anyone that uses the “it’s just cosmetic” argument. Here’s a 17 minute video that perfectly lays out why that argument is flat out wrong and is in reality a corporate apologist argument. https://youtu.be/Ce5CDrq4dGg Cosmetics affects gameplay. - Cosmetics were rewards for completing challenges and activities as you played. - Skins were a part of a games reward system but are now tied very closely to ‘DLC’. - In an online game with social spaces, cosmetics are a method players can use to stand out amongst each other. - if cosmetics truly did not matter then art teams and art direction would not matter. Minimal to no effort will be put into designing gear or weapons. They would all just look the same. This is clearly not the case. Looking different and customization is part of the game. It’s not this separate unrelated side to a game - Especially in online games, for many, gaining the ability to visually stand apart among others is Rewarding. Developers know that or they wouldn’t bother with it at all. - Cosmetics make people enjoy a game experience more and if something makes a player enjoy the game more then that makes it part of the gameplay. If cosmetics truly held and no value whatsoever in the game. Then the developers wouldn’t put them in the game at all. Not as a reward for participation and not in a store where they literally put a price tag on it indicating that it is something of value in the game.

You have been told how the FOL will be handled now its your fault you can not understand it

17 AntwortenRemember when Destiny "was about earning loot, not buying loot?" Ah, good times...
