Prime Engrams are worthless
They should have a good chance to decrypt into exotics. Currently the only purpose they serve once 950 is legendary shards.

3 AntwortenGive it these simple functions: -Has a 30% higher drop rate -No more than 10 Prime Engrams per week per character -Upon decryption, any gear dropped will have a base of 60+ -Dismantled Prime Engrams will drop one of the three: 60% chance of dropping five enhancement cores, 35% chance of dropping two enhancement prisms, 5% chance of dropping an ascendant shard I believe these changes will give Prime Engrams meaning again.

Prime engram gear should guarantee higher stats in the gear, 57+ is what I'd give it. That alone would make me happy, they have no use right now, but high stat rolls always keeps them valuable.

I think you guys are missing the point, Prime Engrams provide that path to 950. What they could do is improve on this now that it has stepped down in rewards stature. For example, for their rarity, they should have stat bumps on them like the Iron Banner pinnacle armor. Back in the day, we aimed for tier 12 Armor, now with this new system, having higher stat armor is a must have, especially dropping stat mods for that +10 on it, you're looking at 70 and above on those ratings. My highest piece is a chest piece, dropped at 62, 72 with Mod, good points in stats too.

I would rather get 50k xp from them after you hit 950 so they actually still contribute to your overall level. Just my opinion.

Remember when primes used to be super useful because they dropped gear above the level cap? Oh wait.

21 AntwortenThe thing to me that sucks is that for a solo player the only chance I have to get enhanced mods is to play IB. Or solo the 950 NF which takes too much time.

So things like the Cryptarch loot pool among other things in this game were not updates leaving you with hundreds of duplicates. OMG! the duplicates in this game are so damn overdone it's stupid especiaslly with Tess that it's rigged to only give you useless items, handpicked garbage in hopes you will buy silver. Think about this for a moment, banshee use to give out new weapons and what happen to that? you didn't even have to buy Forsaken either to get some of the new weapons like the bows that were added to his inventory. Bungie has cut this game done so much in new loot, meaning creating new loot it's absurd that we're stuck getting everything from previous activities, etc... barely anything was added/updated. I rather have seen them remove a lot of the old loot that you can't use the new mods on and add actual new loot. At least it would have felt we're actually getting something from this expansion. I mean, hand me downs from Tess was added to the new raid and Bungie calls that "creating an incentive" to want to run the new raid?🤦♂️ Edit: Longer story short, the game is rigged to hold you back so you will grind more.

1 AntwortenOr have a slight chance at rolling high stats. So far every drop from ranking up, as well as legendary drops, primes, & powerful - they all drop with a base stat below 55 which for me means instant shards 🤷🏼♂️

most things are useless in this game once you hit 950 I think only 2 or 3 activities can give you a +1 which is shit form by Bungie

once you hit 950 with your gear - prime engrams and exotics are both useless . make them pinnacles with a daily cap like primes were before and give people a chance to at least make this horrible grind once your soft capped tollerable .. because unless you play iron banana or raid -which most dont- your path to leveling up any further is a nightfall or a nightmare hunt ...not much incentive to play even with the dungeon coming that adds one more chance ..because grinding to just raise artifact is lame as crap -just my opinion dosent need to be yours-

Light level is only used as a gate to activities, one you hit 950 everything is open to you. The only way to get higher is through pinnacle gear and the only point in getting higher is to get to the activities which give pinnacle gear, an endless cycle that accomplishes nothing. Once you're there the only point to playing the game is for rolls you'll never use on gear you'll never use. That is the whole point of Armor 2.0 to give you something to grind for once you finish all the activities.

26 AntwortenPrimes should ALWAYS be an upgrade. Don’t see why that stopped. Not everyone wants to / has time to raid , do 100k nightfalls every single week. You should reward players for time invested.

Same with exotics, I remember when they always dropped a point or two above the character level until the max cap. I have three unclaimed exotic engrams on my season pass. My characters are 950 (967 inc artifact), the exotics will drop at 950 and I have every exotic except the raid ones so there's no point in claiming them. -
