What´s the actual point of this expansion? I have to farm for old armor, I already had. I have to grind for perks/mods I already had. I have to grind for exotics I already had. I have to play old activities that I already played for like 1000 times to grind old armor to be able to equip old mods to get old perks.
Armor 2.0 is just a grind for old gear we already had. That´s the endgame? Farming for old loot? LMAO.

1 AntwortenI'm still trying to wrap my head around all this myself. I'm trying to imagine spending the next year grinding all my stuff back and grinding my power back every three months. I have played all three guardians through shadowkeep, but wondering if it's worth it every season.

Bearbeitet von Lyrro: 10/27/2019 10:17:45 PMI was excited for armor 2.0 until it became apparent that weapon mods could only be equipped on armor that had specific elements. So if I want to make a build for pulse rifles and a build for hand cannons, I have to farm two sets of armor (including exotic armor which is nearly impossible) because pulse rifle mods can only go on arc gear while hand cannon requires void. The worst part is the simple fact that there is no apparent reason for this design choice other than for the sake of extending the grind further. It's literally like being back in 1.0 only I've already deleted my 1.0 armor and now I have to re-farm it just to get back where I was. Back in 1.0 I had a separate set of gear for each build. The only difference between 1.0 and 2.0 is that I could have void resistance with my pulse rifle which makes 1.0 arguably better. Sure, there's three additional stats now, but I'm still having to carry several sets of armor. And with masterworking being so ridiculously expensive now, I don't want to invest into masterworking one piece with the fear that I'll waste a ton of resources only to find a better piece soon after.

1 AntwortenBruh, just wait until weapons 2.0 comes. You'll be farming for all the same weapons a third time too. That's all Bungie is good at -- inflating a meaningless grind. The problem is they have just enough plebs convinced this is actually a good content loop.

It’s been this since day one of D2... Remove Luke Smith

It's actually baffling how angry and defensive these fanboys get in the replies 😂

It’s a hold over with existing assets until they have “enough” money to prove themselves, I guess. Potential as always, iffy execution as always too

Once you hit 950 base with or without artifact the grind is over I guess

Bearbeitet von DontChurchItUp-: 10/28/2019 5:08:40 AMThat’s a perfect explanation of Shadowkeep. But you don’t get to learn that until you pay... AGAIN.... for what you’ve paid for before SUCKERS!!! and, no offense players. I feel sorry for those getting -f@cked by Bungie.

I'm mostly getting the old and new pinnacle weapons and knocking out some of the triumphs. I'm not really into the moon considering I've spent so much time there and so little has changed. Not really into the PVE activities since I'm not all that interested in using an HC or sub. Limiting builds doesn't make the game better IMO. It's kewl if others into it. I don't really know a reason to run the NF's or Nightmare hunts. I'm hoping one day Bungie will be honest about drop rates etc.

All of things you mentioned are "content" that we already had, sold to us for the second time. That's the Bungo way. For exotics though, you can get the 2.0 version from your collections.

7 AntwortenFine. Go play something else. After five years, this complaint is tired and tiresome. If reskins are those big of an issue, vote with your wallet and go play single player games..... ....or go play a sub fee based mmo. But considering we only pay $5 (or less) per month to play this game, I’m really tired of hearing this.

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von ShadowWing48: 10/27/2019 11:32:26 PMEverything you just mentioned was added for free actually. You could have gotten access to all of the above without Shadowkeep. Shadowkeep is the following: -Nightmare Hunts -Story -Raid -Dungeon -DLC Exotics -DLC Strikes Free Seasonal Content is the following: -All Destinations -Ritual Weapons -Sandbox Changes -System Changes -New PvP Maps and Modes -Iron Banner -Seasonal Events -Seasonal Exotics and a few other things I think Im missing

Now when you put it this way...yeah hhaha man we sure are sheep and bungie is the wolf.

Ok sh*thead. How’s you get a copy of D3 already and why aren’t you sharing?!?!?
That´s the endgame? Farming for old loot? LMAO.
No. Farming strikes for upgrade materials to use the armor you had to farm is the endgame.
