Datto’s feedback on Shadowkeep
He really speak for the community...or bit!? His feedback:
- raid is far too easy. Meanwhile most of us haven’t even started it let alone complete it
- levelling is too easy. He’s played 93 hours since launch...we all have actual jobs and scraping to level up
- Armor 2.0 is fantastic. Really??!!
So I’m assuming Bungie will take this on board even though this represents the most elite of elite try hards.
EDIT: I don’t mean to make this personal against Datto. I respect his knowledge and I obviously follow him otherwise I wouldn’t have seen the video. I guess my implicit message is that I don’t like the power Youtubers have, and certainly don’t feel their opinion represents the majority of the players. A point he himself acknowledges yet there does seem to be a correlation between what streamers say and what Bungie do. That was my main concern - I don’t think that was very clear originally
EDIT 2: some good comments both side of the coin here. Please try and not get too personal against Datto, ie some comments about his hair style etc, not really relevant!

Maybe it's the free advertising, who knows. But at the end of the day it's the people who stick by the game and bungie that matter. As soon as something new comes along well you can guarantee the youtubers will move on to another game. It's all about the views not destiny. I think bungie need to open their eyes to this. Also and here's the kicker, if Datto and anyone else is finding shadowkeep too easy, maybe play a bit less. Slow the grind. Dont use glitches or cheeses because funnily enough not only is it technically cheating, it makes the game easier. Dont use the meta weapons and supers unless it's a situation where it's the only viable option. There are plenty of ways to make the game "harder", especially as level of difficulty varies from person to person. Maybe take this on board before saying it's too easy in the first place.

As far as the raid bit goes, it is not meant to be the pinnacle endgame for pve, that belongs to the legend nightfalls, vex offensive, and the new dungeon, this raid in terms of level is one of the lowest light requirements for a new dlc

1 AntwortenHe is very knowledgable and its great that he puts out guides. However, he is apart of what I call the: Vocal minority not the silent majority. Just because the game is easy for him doesnt mean that the game is easy for 99% of the player population. He does state this in his last video.

1 AntwortenHere are a couple of genuine issues the community has faced over the years: - RNG screwing over alot of people - People finding it difficult to find an regular raid team to play with/ making raids more accessible to more players - Lack of exotic weapons actually being exotic and not beefed up legendaries - Weapons and abilities getting nerfed in PVP and therefore makes them weaker in PVE The first 2 points Datto can't talk about because he no lifes it and has his own little community As for the last 2 not sure if he has spoken about them but his rant video did suggest that auto-reload should be removed......... and bungie did it soooooo......

Levelling will be easy if you can devote 10 plus hours a day to playing and getting things done. Raid easy ?. No idea. Armour 2.0 ?. It’s okay, I guess. But annoying when you get a new piece and you go and put in your mods only for a better piece to drop so you put in your mods only for a better piece to drop....etc etc And why did I bother keeping my mods from last year when, apparently, I can’t use any of them. I like the increased grenade regeneration mod and have one in my inventory...yet can’t use it in a single piece that’s dropped so far. -blam!- hum.

Doesn't anybody get sick of this day in day out critique while the same people make money off of it and then Bungie crowns them as some sort of spokesperson for the whole community. They are literally getting paid to sit on their ass and be critical of a game with nothing else to do all day long but play video games and make tedious, chronological videos of they're pretentious opinions about said video game . It's like we put them on some sort of community funded welfare and It's dumb, inaccurate and clutters up the rhetoric for the average person playing the game. There's too many fingers in the pot and Bungie just needs to listen to the people in the community instead of these so-called expert critics. I'm just a sick of these guys just as much as a lot of the Triple-A Studios.

4 AntwortenToo easy huh. How many players have completed it? Surely if it's so easy, a bunch of people should've completed it. Also, if it's so easy, why he didn't win worlds first? Of course it's easy when you have a bunch of people that play video games for a living as your team.

This guy plays ALL DAY, everyday. The raid shouldn’t be so goddam hard that only the likes of him and other streamers can beat it who no life the game so effing hard the second it’s out to make guides and shit that they burn through content in a day that we’d get through in a week. Eff right off with all that nonsense.

They are paid to play a game, so go to work and play the FN game. Don't tell the boss you want it harder just for you to enjoy playing it.. Its your JOB. If hte raid is so easy, why was he not first place inthe race. Further if its so easy, and he wants the enemies to be tougher... news plash... go in at lower power level.. Then it will be more difficult. What he really wants and what they all want, is things to be so difficult that only they can complete it and then the community will look up to them as gods.. -blam!- THAT NOISE. Leveling is easy and if you play a ton, then you will be max power really quick.. really what he doesn't like is the people who play less than he does attaining max power lessening his impact and abillity to lord that over others as well. These guys want to stand out, be on top of the heap and want recognition. Time we take that away from them. They are players with the rest of us.. deal with it. Edit. You know who doesn't bother me at all Esoterik, you don't see him telling anyone how to change the game, or that its to hard.. he plays what is in front of him, posts the videos and thats it.. he doesn't demand fealty or demand the game fit his play, he just plays and accepts what bungie puts out.. HE is far more a part of the community than most of these streamers who think the game was made only for them and needs to be changed for them.

4 AntwortenHe’s correct Raid is very easy, I made it to the final encounter last night with my clan having 0 idea on what to do Getting to 900 power was the easiest power climb I’ve ever done in my 6 years Armour 2.0 is great. There is so much different things to make your armour the way you want it He is very correct

They don’t. This is bungie’s game. Pretty sure executives aren’t watching YouTube to decide where they go next with their IP. Come on now. I haven’t done the raid yet, leveling is right where it should be for me. Also Datto said leveling is easy TO 900. Quote him properly. We don’t need to give false ammo to those that want to spread false narratives. Armor 2.0 is brilliant with the exception of the element part. I could do without that. I’m not foolishly spending my materials until I have the armor set I truly want. People mad about materials are the ones spending recklessly. I know you didn’t comment on this, but it kind of goes hand and hand with the hate on armor 2.0.
