Izanagi's Burden quest bugged (Black Armory Key mold not obtainable)

The Volundr, Gofannon, and Izanami Forge all rewarded their respective keys upon destroying the Post-1st round drones that appear in each of the Forges.
However, it seems that the Lock and Key quest cannot be completed by the Bergusia Forge's completion with the drones, nor with interaction with Ada-1. She does not give you the quest to obtain the key. I have looked to Reddit and other online sources but they are either out-dated or they are having similar problems. There seems to be virtually no solution to this so far.
Others report that more than one character is unable to obtain the quest or so and so, but that isn't the issue here. It's not that perhaps another one of my characters could have obtained the quest accidentally, it's that *none*, not even my main character which has the Lock and Key quest has any access whatsoever to getting the final key.
Is this a bug, or are my friends and I missing something?
If someone is able to clarify or share their experience on this issue, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

1 AntwortenStill no fix. Hey Bungie, can you guys give everyone with this quest a key mold? It can't be that hard to write up a script that would do this. Or maybe disable the weapon like you did with Telesto?

16 Antworten@BNGHelp7 Who cares if its fixed... let people progress through this quest. Why is that so hard? Do you only bother to find work arounds for things that are important to bungie? Was Iron Banner success so important you quickly fixed a bugged quest with an instant completion when that step was reached? Why can't you instantly give us the key mold or put it for sale for a few glimmer for people on this step "GO TO ADA AND GET KEY MOLD FROM HER" Its the most simplistic step you can get. Auto completing this step would rob players of going to Ada and talking to her... thats all this step asks for. What gamebreaking reason does skipping this step have. There is so many other bigger issues that require fixing and bungies attention, this quest does not... just skip the simple step of "walking to a npc" and talking with them so every single new player you gained at shadowkeep release can earn such a valuable weapon.

So this is why I just wasn't getting the quest from Ada-1. It's 23 Oct and the quest is still bugged, 22 days after launch... lol

I have been grinding this, picked up all three keys, unlocked and now only have the Black Armory line to go and NOW I find this out. The only reason I came back was for Recluse, Inzami and Way GL - Same way team Ascend did the worlds first raid. That is what inspired me. I wanted to get them then start the Shadow Keep DLC. Without them what is the point. This bug has ruined my dream and stripped me of all the grinding motivation. What a sad day. Good bye everyone.

I tried a small experiment based off of somebody on Reddit. They claimed that completing the Izanami forge ignition mission (vex transponder) on nessus would reward the player with the key mold. I was lucky enough to be on the last step on my warlock from back when black armory came out. I did the mission and sure enough she gave me the key mold. However the normal way of getting this quest to drop is by completing the Gofannon mission then killing vex on nessus. I tried for awhile on my hunter (which has a rare bounty and all the keys, which is why i did not want to do it on my warlock) but the quest does not drop. According to some people on another forum, bungie actually removed this quest all together and it is no longer obtainable ingame. As of October 23rd 11:07 PM, i have not found a way to bypass this and Bungie has not done shit to fix it. you can stop reading now, below is my opinion on the matter Personally I think that this bug or whatever the flamin hot mc-blam!- of a quest this is should be top priority for bungie. I had the annual pass but was burned out by the time black armory came out. Part of it was being on xbox can feel pretty boring sometimes with the aim assist to me. Now with shadowkeep out and the new raid, people are talking about how the izaniggas burden is super good for DPS in the new sandbox, and now there is a rather large group of new players and players that just dont have the gun that can no longer get it. I think that bungie should get to work on a fix as soon as possible. Why not give the key mold quest to Ada-1's inventory just like the other exotic quests? why not just skip that step all together and have the key (or even just the mold) drop from the burger forge? Bungie has said that they are aware of feedback about the rotational forges, and that the forges might be accessible at all times, but they have said nothing about the key mold other than in the TWAB, simply stating the issue. I would like to be updated on what exactly is wrong with the quest as much as possible so I know when to start going for it again. Thats all

4 AntwortenI’m not even a New Light player and I still can’t get the key mold. Bungie, fix your game. I’m tired of being useless to my raid teams because my DPS is too low.

so here i was, spending well over 3 hours repeating the bergusia forge ignitions while googling away trying to find answers as to why quests (black armory machine gunframe and a bounty from ada) won't complete. sigh. on to the next quest.

Ya it’s bugged for me too. Me and a buddy of mine started it at the same time and his worked but mine didn’t. She hasn’t dropped the quest. I have the first three opened even did it again today before the reset for the last forge and it’s still not updated. I talked to her and reset the thing. I really don’t wish to delete the quest and re do it all over again.
