Friendly reminder that Tarrabah has only gotten WORSE
With the removal of Autoreload it’s no longer even a funny Boss melter.
It’s now just a bad exotic for EVERYTHING.
This is a RAID EXOTIC that is outclassed by a CRUCIBLE PINNACLE.
And even if Recluse didn’t exist it still would be outclassed by normal Weapons.
Tarrabah is not currently worth the exotic slot, and even something as basic as letting it keep its progression towards Ravenous Beast while stored would make it infinitely better.
Bungie please. It’s a Raid weapon, and it’s an exotic, but it doesn’t feel like either of those. Among the MANY Exotics that aren’t worth using the fact that a RAID exotic ranks so low and feels so poor due to the fact that it’s exotic perk is wiped WHEN YOU PULL OUT YOUR GHOST is really disappointing.

Yea it's a niche weapon but the amount of damage it does is insane if your in a rea like vex offensive it menagerie were there are alot of ads especially nightmare hunts with solar damage buff it completely shreds and raveanus beasts can last a considerable amount of time PLUS when recluse gets nerfed it will be even more clear how good it is

7 AntwortenNot true. Tarrabah does considerably more damage and outright outranges and out damages recluse. The only issue in my opinion is that in pvp its perk is worthless because the damage is so high you tend you burst your opponents down too quickly to ramp it up before you get shot from behind or team shot. The perk shouldn't go away because you stow it but most people still complain about recluse so nevernind.

6 AntwortenI remember in D1 how a lot of raid weapons were used in the crucible through the 3 years. Vex was one of the most sought out weapon for exotics that gave many the incentive to want to run VoG. I miss the days of wanting to run raids because of the incentive they actually had. I miss it a lot that I haven't even bothered running any of the raids in D2.

It's not better than Recluse for killing trash mobs but it's a much more versatile item, it beats it easily for both range and damage. Some friends and I went into Gambit using just 2 of them between us, we were melting the bosses with great ease and thoroughly enjoying using it; Recluse, on the other hand, is easily the dullest weapon in the game right now. I can agree with wanting charge towards Ravenous Beast to stay when weapons are swapped, but I can also see why it behaves the way it does. What other perks can be activated and then remain active when you swap weapons? If the gun accumulated charge while stowed, or was able to retain charge, then it's foreseeable that it would be too strong.

Tarabah needs 2 buffs to make it viable 1 keeps progress when swapping weapons and still makes progress when getting hurt when this weapon is not equipped. 2 when release the beast is active it auto reloads until the perk ends and the gun now has feeding frenzy added as a perk

8 AntwortenLooked at the breakdown sheet online and according to it the Tarrabah has the second ttk for SMG's in PvP. So if you have no Recluse then it is an alternative. On the other hand I would rather select a different non exotic SMG.

That died before I could really do anything with it. Now it might just go to my hunter with a CQC stompe build with Midnight coup (for PvE, Zenith will stay pvp on that build) As for peregrine, well, courtesy and one-two kick is a thing for now. Gold monty better come out for dust.

1 AntwortenDunno about this hyperbole. Sure its not great for boss DPS but recluse isn't either. For adds, I mean its actually close. If you chain kills with terrabah you can extend ravenous beast (my record is a full minute with it) it actually melts yellow bar enemies alot faster than recluse. Its not terrible, but it could use a buff to elongating time when dealing damage for ravenous beast.

5 AntwortenTarrabah's one and only use is to break Hasapiko's shield in Heroic Menagerie. And I doubt anyone even plays that anymore with the Luna / Barricade nerf.

15 AntwortenWell removing Recluse like EVERYONE ACTUALLY WANTS BUNGIE, would be a good start. Beyond that, buffs/catalyst can help. Also Exotic Primaries need inate Barrier/Overload/Unstoppable rounds. Also get -blam!-ed Pulse and Scouts????? Seeing as they have no options in that regard.

Primary and special exotics are further invalidated by the fact that you can’t put shield piercer, overload rounds etc on them. You’ll have a bad time in a lot of encounters without them. Great design choice!

I haven't tried it since the update but according to the bungie notes it got a 10% damage buff in addition to the buff all smgs received. Not too mention that recluse isn't as good since bungie nerfed its perk, I think it only grants a 15% buff instead of 30, and they nerfed ricochet rounds so it doesn't have the range it used too.

No Primary weapon matters as long as Recluse is far better than everything else. Bungie needs to heavily nerf it or just outright remove it at this point.

2 AntwortenI disagree with some of it. With the sandbox changes it’s working well. Headshots is the key. Had fun with it in the crucible last night and I hate PvP. It works rather well. Goes head to head with recluse with a bit more range. The ravenous beast perk sucks though. But I think Bungie is afraid to buff and turn this into a game breaking exotic.
