Hi ! The new system for Armor 2.0 is great but there is a huge problem with it. Some mods like supply ammo for grenade launcher, etc... Are tied to the element of the armor.
For exemple, i got a supply mod for grenade launcher ( increase supply ammo) or it's tied to the Void element only. You guys really need to change that because it blocked us to create our build as we want. The whole point of 2.0 armor is to allow us to create our " perfect " build we love but this thing block us for that. My armor is Arc... Damn.
So, not only i have to pray the god of sweet loot to have good stats on my armor but i have to pray more to get the good element on the armor ? I'm sure i'm not the only angry about this. I like random loot and farm but this thing push the farm too far. The only mod tied to the element of the armor should have been the Solar/Void/Arc resistance.
I hope this is understandable because i'm french so i'm sorry about my bad english. ^^"

5 AntwortenDoes anyone know where to get armor mods. I rarely see any dropping. Turned in 6 package worth of tokens and got zero mods. What is the point of this expansion again?

5 AntwortenIt's your guardian. Play our way. -Bungie

Called it long time ago armor 2.0 will limit you more than before!
-
2 AntwortenNot relevant but does anybody know what is maximum "total" (of attribute points) for 2.0 armor pieces. The ones I got so far are 49-56. Does this total increase with something such as level of artifact completion ???

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Soul_Eater_42: 10/5/2019 3:02:58 AMThe whole Armor 2.0 system is bullshit. The low armor stats, the worthless Masterwork system which is hardly better than the previous one (possibly worse), most of the Mods being tied to certain elements, only Eververse items being turned into Universal Ornaments. It's obvious they thought none of it through carefully.

5 AntwortenLiterally said the same thing a while back. Armor 2.0 also doesn't allow double scavenger mods. It also doesn't support double special builds. For a system that was meant to push "build crafting" more than ever, it sure takes away a lot of options.

Bearbeitet von wittenD24: 10/7/2019 4:10:41 PMI knew this would create tension as soon as I heard about it. And from my understanding, it makes certain perk combinations impossible (which ones, I’m not sure). Edit: I’ve also seen unfortunate posts about players acquiring Exotic armor pieces where the element doesn’t align with weapons the armor piece revolves around (i.e., Oathkeeper or Peacemakers).

4 AntwortenWas wondering how I couldn't find my enhanced HC targeting mod, it's definitely a BS move, yet again proof that they just don't listen to players.
-
Another level of rng makes for a longer grind. Hope you get the right piece of gear Hope the mods are decent (6 types of rng right there) Hope it has the right element And if I understand it correctly, certain mods are only available for certain elements, which further limits your choices and eliminates certain builds completely. Please, bungie, explain your logic behind this change. I'd love to hear your explanation of how "you're listening to your players."

1 AntwortenThe element type now only matters to the mods. It is not like the year one sets where it boosted resistance to that element. Now a fully MW piece boosts all stats.
-
4 AntwortenThis isn't even the biggest problem with Armor 2.0. The biggest issue BY FAR is that all six stats are determined by RNG. This alone makes it almost impossible to craft the exact build you want (the whole purpose of Armor 2.0), then if you factor in the element and the chance it could be a piece of armor you don't like...

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von Interpol89: 10/5/2019 4:02:34 AMI just went back to my armor 1.0 sets. I’ll switch to 2.0 whenever it makes sense, because right now it seems like a waste of resources.

Not at all. There are just plain loader mods that take 4 and 5 energy, but then there are the ones that match a certain element and THEY only take 1 energy. Plus, if you unlock your artigact, enhanced grenade launcher loader is right there and only takes 1 energy. So I'm sorry, but your point is invalid.

I enjoy Fusions and Pulse Rifles. Fusion Perks (Linear included) are Solar Pulse Rifles are Arc I'm still digging around for mods but so far, certain setups may no longer be possible in full synergy. Praying for good base stats on top of the correct element is a hell of a grind waiting.

2 AntwortenI’m not even 900 LL so i could be wrong but it seems parangon mods have gone. Does it mean i can’t go full dodge+invis with my top tree shadowshot spec anymore?

1 AntwortenLol they explained all of this like 3 weeks before the dlc dropped. I swear some of you need to pay the -blam!- attention to shit, not just buy something then -blam!-.

Haven't even bothered with amour 2.0. Thought it be like D1 ampur where you can choose your intellect and stuff. Close enough ig
-
they made it real clear that some mods were tied to Arc or Solar or Void . wow i guess the truth is gamers will whine about everything
-
That also sucks arse
-
3 AntwortenWow! I did not know you needed to match armor element type with the same mod element type. That just makes the gear grind insane. Guess I’ll stick with my Warmind armor set.
-
Armor mods? What armor mods? I can’t find any
-
Im just gonna use my fully MW menagerie 1.0 armor now. The new armor is too expensive to masterwork and even at masterwork it wont match the perks that I have on my 1.0 armor. The arms have enhanced hc loader/heavy ammo finder/hive armaments/super mod. Now good luck doing that with armor 2.0.
-
12 AntwortenI don't understand the logic behind tying weapon mods to an element. It seems stupid but maybe there's some reason.
