Should Twilight Garrison return?
One of the first things I do if I ever try to have a nostalgia trip in D1 is try out one of my favorite exotics, the Twilight Garrison on my Titan. I always feel so powerful being able to have so much control over my direction whether im on the ground or hovering in the air. It was always there for moments when I needed to just get a slight edge or escape route in sticky situations.
Im pretty biased about it because I really didnt feel salty about it in PVP since I used it a lot, so if anyone used it on me I at least was able to use it against them.
Also I understand that the warlock can use pretty much the same exact ability on the solar subclass, so maybe it would be a little odd for it to be on a completely different class. Maybe they could change how the ability is even activated?
Maybe instead you could [u]only[/u] dodge if
A: You have a shoulder charge active, and B: activate it only in midair.
This would be a pretty significant downgrade, but I think it could still make for a useful exotic.

It should not have been taken off in the first place for the sake of sellling exotics item again tied to mediocre DLCs. That is what should had happened. D2 should have kept exotics and provided a brand new set of exotics tied to whatever sandbox bungie provided.

Can it be turned into a class item exotic so we can have a jump kit? Can it also make you hover while aiming down sights

1 AntwortenSo many players are still stuck in D1 with “should this return” or “should that return”. How about newer exotics that have “new” abilities. I have plenty of exotics I lived in D1 but calling for them back feeds into the half ass drip fed recycled content we already get. We lost our exotics for a reason.... they should not have returned.

It was a great safety net in pve from boss stomp. Flying a billion miles an hour at a wall? *woosh noise* not anymore ☺

I think it really depends on how good bottom tree striker is in PvP after Shadowkeep launches for me. If the nerf feels efficient enough, then sure, but if the mobility/duration still feels to strong, then I’d like to see another nerf/rework beforehand. Would definitely like to see exotics like it and Bones of Eao return

Twilight garrison was my favorite d1 exotic, I'd love to go 'pum - tzu, tzu, tzu' again, that said should it return? Depends entirely on how. If it come back behind a free event, like thunderlord. Then 100% I'm all for more content. However if it comes back the way monte carlo, suros, peragrine greaves, mida, etc etc etc came back? 100% NO. We should never be repurchasing content, NEW content for our NEW money. D1 exotics account for 1/3rd of all d2s. It's embarrassing how lazy bungie are and how much people let them get away with, next dlc: repurchased location (no a new area and some lost sectors dont make it new), repurchased exotics, repurchased bosses, repurchased armor, repurchased everything.
