Fated Engrams duplicate exotic. Possible drop bug for Liar's Handshake?
"Source: Exotic engrams; extremely rare world drops." as with any other exotic that comes from engrams. Yet for some reason, the game will not only give me this exotic from all the engrams I've gotten, but even the engram that's supposed to be a guaranteed exotic when Liar's was my only remaining world exotic gave me Borealis which I've had for ages.
Meanwhile, I constantly hear about people getting their LH from Gambit which I just so happen to rarely play.

The Fated engram does not drop exotics from raids, quests or the Annual Pass. Liars Handshake was released in the Annual Pass this it is currently impossible to get it from the Fated engram.

Fated Engrams don’t drop Annual Pass exotics, only exotics from Forsaken and before.

1 AntwortenIf Liars hs is a oplucence or drifter exotic i dont think they are in fated engrams yet. i still need astrocyte versus it never drops its the final exotic in the game i need atm.

10 AntwortenIf you aren’t on your Hunter when picking up your Fated Engram, you won’t get a Hunter exotic. Exotic Engrams are not only randomly dropped but drop a random Exotic. The fact that LH came from Gambit, was completely random. In addition, duplicate protection is an absolute joke and it’s completely up to RNG.
