Which items are you recycling for Bright Dust.
Just want other peoples thoughts and opinions on which items they're considering keeping or destroying for bright dust. I'm at 31k at this time before trashing Exotics and thousands of Shaders.
The reason I ask is because the bright dust offerings are WEAK. Ever since they started marketing everything for cash (silver) I haven't seen many dust items worth buying.
I always considered myself a collector, but with the release of "Collections" I have a record of what I've earned in the past. I was keeping purples along the way just in case it would prevent doubles. Those are the first things I've gotten rid of and now I'm wondering how many or which shaders I should consider keeping. And last I have a decision to make on all of my exotic sparrows, ships and shells.
What are you keeping and destroying?

Keeping: 1 of each Eververse shader that I actually like, to repopulate post-Shadowkeep Crappy green/blue cosmetics to fill in ghost/sparrow/ship slots 2-3 Eververse armor sets As many Platinum Starling ships as I can buy and cram into my vault (Not Eververse, but I'm saving them to pump up my Glimmer) Sharding: All ships, sparrows, ghosts, shaders, transmat effects, and most of my armor I plan on re-purchasing my favorite ships, transmats, shaders, insta-summon sparrows, and Guiding Light ghosts after launch

All my ships, except the Ikora, Zavala and Cayde ships. All my sparrows except for three instances of the SoTP sparrow. All ghosts, including exotic ghosts, except for a Guiding Light/Combo Detector for each planet and one Instant Sparrow summoning ghost for each character. All shaders and transmat effects. I broke down basically everything already.

1 AntwortenMight want to consider dismantling every exotic ship you own except the one you have equipped. You can get back the ones you want later for glimmer and shards.

Why would anyone keep anything? I’ve dismantled everything. Armour, ghosts, ships, sparrows, shaders, transmat effects (Only legendaries. I keep blues so I can craft more legendaries from Amanda, but I’ll dismantle any blues left just before the patch). Everything is gone, because why would I keep any of it?

I'm legit trashing anything that I have that gives bright dust. Anything I want back I'll bring back for shards when Shadowkeep drops

Only things i keep are ghosts with resource AND cache detection for every planet. If it doesnt have that buh-bye. I used the same sparrow since warmind (vespulsar) until the micro came along but its on my titan. My warlock has the one from menagerie and idk what my hunter has cause i never changed it after i got a 160. I used the same ship from launch until i got Currus Gloriae XLII (looks like a real fighter jet) now i probably wont change because ships are 100% pointless

4 AntwortenI've dismantled every Ghost shell, Sparrow, and ship that I'm not using, as well as most of the shaders. They're going to be available still in Collections, just with Legendary Shards as the currency, so you may as well stock up on as much Bright Dust as you can.
