Bungie lives saying "we learn with the past", but they still have putting lots of those blue(rare) stuff on our inventory. Why they not dismantle those things automatically? last night i lost a Threat Level because I didn't know the postmaster was full with BLUE thing, bungie please make a algorytm who dismantle automatically all the rare stuff when u got a cap power.
ps: take it easy, i don't speak english.

If they were to auto dismantle you would realise how terribly terribly small the loot pool in this game actually is.

I had my first “Postmaster full” notices in the past couple of days running Reckoning over & over to complete 4 matches for Notorious heads (many fails). The notice doesn’t come until you fly into the Tower - why not while playing? Plus, didn’t seem like there were that many things at the Postmaster? Maybe 20 (neglected to count). It’s beyond ridiculous you’d lose a Threat Level because of green shaders (or whatever)! I feel for you OP (my TL’s are my babies)!

3 AntwortenHow about making regular trips to the damn tower. The lazy part of this community is really showing. If you don’t bother clearing your post master you don’t DESERVE ANY IF THE LOOT YOU MISS.
-
Shaders. And more shaders. Don't even pretend this doesn't apply to you.
-
There could be a post office on each world, but that would force Bungle to spend money to set it up. Easier to tell us to manage our inventory and to quit playing in order to do so.

9 Antwortenthese posts always come just before a level increase where blues will be of help to you. not to mention there's this thing called inventory management. if you are in the world with your slots are full, that's on you. you don't need to carry everything you own. taking a second in between activities to delete the unwanted drops is not at all difficult either.

8 AntwortenI will never understand how people have full postmasters.
-
4 AntwortenThey have said multiple times that the postmaster isn't additional storage. It's your own fault for not organising yourself.
-
4 AntwortenDo not use the post master as storage.
-
Not everyone have devices to use apps. Maybe bungie should put the Postmaster on the Director Map that might help to check and delete without ever going to the Tower. Just make it where players can't pick up the weapons at the postmaster until they actually fly to the Tower. Or at least bungie should put in numbers at the postmaster location on the Tower map to denotes how many stuffs are at the postmaster like back in D1.

The real game behind destiny is admin, dismantling blues, evaluating weapon and armor perks before dismantling purples.
-
Just clean up your postmaster on a regular basis. Also, try to have room in your inventory for blues, so you can dismantle them on the go.

I dont think Bungie will ever get the Vault/Postmaster right.

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von WormChi: 9/6/2019 2:59:30 PMDon’t listen to all these haters you are right. I keep a very organized vault and characters. I leave one open slot for each gear piece for drops and dismantle everything I don’t want immediately. I also try and pull things out of the post with the app when I have time. The problem is if you’re grinding, like this game wants you to, this often isn’t enough and you do loose things in the post. Bungie could do one of two things or both to make these problem go away: 1. Give us the option to toggle auto dismantle for blues. 2. Have rarity take precedent. Exotics push out legendaries, blues, mats and other items. Legendaries do the same but except for exotics. There problem solved. A QoL improvement that needs to be implemented.

Let’s be real, Destiny’s gear and inventory system is antiquated and needs a complete rework. 9 inventory slots that’re shared between our backup gear and gear drops, simply is too limiting. Throw in the amount of junk gear we get and it can be overwhelming to manage mid-maxed builds without overflowing into the Postmaster. That said, Armor “2.0” will ease the pain a lil’ but moving to a system more along to the lines of The Division, needs to happen sooner than later.

Blues are the new greens

I think Bungie should make the legendaries have more priority over blues when it comes to getting sent to postmaster. I think that should solve many players' problem when postmaster inventory gets too full.

11 AntwortenI've never understood player like you, how they have a full inventory and full post master. How hard is it to take 2 to 5min, fly to tower, delete w.e is in the postmaster and your inventory? Why is even your postmaster full lol? And idk about any1 else but theres some blue gear and weapons I like, and I use some of the blue weapons, specially in pvp youd be surprised that theres 1 or 2 blue weapons that is better than a legendary weapon lol. Anyways, if thwres an option great, but I doubt bungie will ever do that. Everything is so hard for them to do, so the best thing which is take 5min and delete everything from postmaster and inventory, dont carry every single weapon and armor and you wont jave this issue. After each activity your able to access your inventory and delete w.e you dont need before the next thing starts how hard is that to do?

53 AntwortenBearbeitet von Mowbz: 9/5/2019 10:51:40 PMMate, you did fine. You took a better shot at my language than any of these idiots would with yours. The irony of Americans knocking your English when they call aeroplanes airplanes like my 5 year old does is too much. 😂😂😂😂
-
I would agree, but only to auto-dismantle blues going to the postmaster. That way you could still get that blue you want directly into your inventory if you have an open slot.

Bearbeitet von Ice Oblivion IV: 9/6/2019 2:57:28 AMI don't see this as an issue. Hear me out first. When I get a haul in my Postmaster, usually after 2-3 hours playtime, I return to the Tower for various reasons: 1. Decrypt Legendary, Exotic and Eververse Engrams 2. Cash in tokens to Zavela and/or Shaxx 3. Pick up bounties I may have missed. Sometimes, I focus on Vanguard stuff, return, focus on Crucible stuff, return, etc. 4. Switch out gear in the Vault to keep my gameplay fresh, kind of. 5. Clear out my Postmaster. All of the above takes me about 5 minutes to do, then I'm back out there, kicking Darkness butt. I'm sorry, but anytime I see posts like this about Guardians Postmasters getting full, all I see is a lazy excuse. Lastly, your English is fine. I have seen worse from people IRL that have it as a FIRST language. Edit: Had a 2nd "5." at the end for no reason. It has been cast into the dark, cold oblivion...

2 AntwortenQuit being lazy and dismantle the blues then
-
Before you go to the tower check the postmaster thru the app. It doesn't delete the items till you actually land.
-
1 AntwortenDismantle blues yeess? Or you cry. Your choice.
-
Lol. "My postmaster is full of shaders..." They've given us a way to do that too. Please don't blame the e for your own mishandling of your gear and items. I'd almost understand if they'd given us nothing to deal with this but they have. Stop hoarding items and "clean your room". Can't stand this generation of gamers that constantly blames others for their own failures. Did you not clean your room because the hamper and waste baskets were too small?
-
I've gotten into the habit of checking my Postmaster every so often. It's made even easier by the fact that Ishtar Commander (the inventory management app I use) is able to retrieve my Lost Items for me as long as they aren't Engrams.
