8 AntwortenBearbeitet von Hells Assailent: 8/29/2019 8:43:50 PMWhen did this become Call of Duty: World War 2/Call of Duty Black Ops 4? The fact that weapons (including exotic ones) can be unobtainable by season when your RNG loot system sucks balls makes Year 3 a no buy for me. Once I finish Shadowkeep DLC I am done with this trash.

17 AntwortenVery interested in how much this cost. Silver or Cash? or both. How much are we looking at each season?

Claps in the chat.

Hm, sounds far more interesting then the running dreaming city for 1000th time. Vets will collect shaders and pimp looking things. Season goes away and they get to flex as the seasons pass by. Season pass is alright with me. (Assuming it will be around 10 bucks too) 20 bucks for 10 weeks of entertainment. Alright by me, damn movies cost my girl and I 50 bucks each time. You all can be cheap asses, but it's a good bang for yo buck in my eyes.

With this season pass model does it mean season rank track goes away too when the season ends? Once the season is over you will not be able to buy that season for any of its content? If the above is 'yes', please inform buyers of the end date of a season at the point of sale so buyers are well informed of the time limit.

Thank you Luke Smith for writing all of this. Very informative. And I'm excited for October...officially:)

I was hyped once. Didn't go well. So we'll live and see, I guess. There is a bright side of being a pessimist - you either right, or pleasantly surprised. :)

1 AntwortenI like most of what I see. Though I still have some concerns. What's the point of buying shadow keep when it looks as if almost all of the content is free to everyone (besides the campaign). Also, still dont like the idea of paying for content and then losing it in a few weeks.

3 AntwortenThis all sounds pretty good to me on paper. I admit, I was and remain a little skeptical of losing activities, but I feel like even with that in mind, there is plenty here for me to enjoy that make it worth the 10 dollar entrance fee.

Ok, I've been very critical of this game, with good reason, but his description of how this annual pass should've gone with the new system.....that's exactly what Destiny should be. A seemless transition that involves plot and content to match, for me this did a lot more than the Director's Cuts. Good news here.

This gives a much better idea of what to expect with the new seasons. Thank you good sir. If possible please do address the state of year 1 weapons (raid, world drops) and are there any changes coming to them like random rolls? Would the weapon mods still exist? Can we apply them to year 1 weapons? Thank you :)

Bearbeitet von Ownzy_: 8/29/2019 8:18:15 PMWhile I appreciate the transparency on this, and the seemingly decent attempt at keeping players in mind who can’t devote five hours a night to the game but still play when they can, I’m not entirely convinced that this’ll do a great deal of quenching the fires of skepticism and uncertainty regarding the amount of potential grind requirements for unlocking any given amount of gear, mods, or content, only to then lose it the next season and have to do it all over again. (/Run on sentence.) Still seems a little sketchy until we see it in action and get a hands on feel for just how much of a time investment is necessary, and if that investment is being properly respected proportionally to its reward. Also very disappointed to see there’ll be yet another crucible and gambit pinnacle weapon, but nothing for the one thing we need truly something more of...a true PvE pinnacle weapon to compete with Mountaintop and Recluse. Terrible decision.

Thanks for all the info. Sounds interesting, even if it sounds like you turned the game into destiny: fortnite edition lol.

The best of year 2 engrams had better have Sunbreak armor for the Titan, I missed out on it thanks to my Xbox going Doodoo.
-
Yeah ok, I'll pay Bungie another $10 to try out the new way of doing things. I'll need something to keep me busy until October 25th. After The Outer World's drops we'll see which game gets most of my time. Just sayin'.

Okay first and foremost, you got an upvote just for the dig at Datto! This level of communication is great - I won't say I don't still have questions about some areas of the game however as a long term player who's heavily invested in the game, it feels great to be given this insight, so you have my thanks. Off the top of my head, I do have the following concerns... I'm not sure how I feel yet about paying for season content and some of that going away at the end, eg paying for black armory and then the forges vanish at the end of the season. I get what Luke is saying about the need to update/evolve content etc and that makes sense, however part of me is still a but like 'but I bought it, why does half of it need to go away?'. We'll see how this works in action however that's what I was thinking as I read this. Secondly - the season ranks. I like the idea however it's going to be a fine balance here to make this accessible without the need to buy ranks at the end of the season. It's good that players that can't get into the game much can get a catch up mechanic - as long as it's just that. I get the feeling from the post that this is something the team have already put a lot of thought into so I'm hopeful it won't be an issue.
