Stop limiting player choice. Infusion is a means to use the weapons we LIKE, not a means to use something that makes us more POWERFUL.
It is, and has always been preference, nothing more. Don't curate player preference.
Thanks.
**Edit** I am baffled by how obtuse a lot of players are to how the system works. It's quite bizarre.

12 AntwortenWhen you hover over the cores stop pressing the "dismantle" button and you'll have enough of them.
-
1 AntwortenWe should go back to the beginning of ttk infusion system lol
-
There are consumables in the battle-pass that give you free infusion....
-
2 AntwortenI have a long standing stance of not being upset about the current infusion requirements. I think it's perfectly fine requiring extra game play through bounties to obtain infusion materials. Having said that though, I believe infusion is changing come Shadowkeep. Luke discussed the battle pass, or the seasonal pass, both free and premium, will include upgrade modules for infusion. They showed an item on the free section of season rank progression bar. Looked like a cube with orange pegs. 2 of these same looking items, were seen on gunsmith vendor page during armor 2.0 reveal. So maybe, show some patience. You could easily be discussing/arguing moot points, come Shadowkeep.

Bearbeitet von OdinsKnight101: 8/31/2019 8:35:20 AMFrom my understanding the max in-fusible power for the ''rest?'' of the game will be 900? So if that never changes, subsequently meaning it'll become a non factor because we won't have to worry anymore, only when we get that 1 weapon/armor that will need to be infused. The power cap we only would have to think about, is each seasons reset for the power obtained by our artifact. Unless each season increases our base power cap?

11 AntwortenOh my god I need to spend enhancement cores that are given to me for literally doing nothing? I need to spend planetary mats that cost 1 legendary shard? I need to USE MY LEGENDARY SHARDS THAT I THREE OF FOR DISMANTLING THE THOUSANDS OF USELESS LEGENDARIES I GET? -blam!-ing uninstalling this shit game, forcing me to play content to use content i want. disgusting practice

9 AntwortenLono just did a great video on this. Bungie is ass backwards on their leverage of the grind vs reward. F2p players are gonna dump this game like a sack of rocks in mass. It’s just a shame that those in charge are too stuck in their ways. Watch them turn on a dime when the ship starts sinking
-
1 AntwortenThey effed Infusion beyond recognition when they shoved cores in there, and they won't ever walk it back. I don't think they can at this point. They changed so many things to try to justify cores and save face instead of acknowledging that they vastly overpriced the cost of a simple in-game function and -blam!-ed it up. Now, instead of three currencies and a fourth rare one to accomplish, Infusion costs four currencies to accomplish. It went from obscenely stupid to excessively stupid. But you get to do more bounties now, and Bungie gets filler for their Battle Pass. So meaningful and impactful. :D

27 AntwortenWhat needs to be changed? Enhancment cores are not a problem anymore.
-
9 AntwortenInfusion should be expensive, use different gear, when Forsaken dropped I was smart used blue weapons and gear built up resources by sharding old gear and weapons that were low light, infused just a couple of my best guns, too many non bright players out their that don’t think are running into resource problems, uses your mind and let old stuff go, infuse very little

18 Antworten
Infusion is a means to use the weapons we LIKE, not a means to use something that makes us more POWERFUL.
Scratch that rewind it, reverse it. Now go. "Infusion is a means to make us more powerful, not a means to use the weapons we like." There we go. Infusion is literally a system designed so that you can take items you like and increase their power so that you can keep using them. That is literally the reason it was introduced in Taken King, and it still functions to this purpose right now.

Lono actually suggested it go on Glimmer only, kinda surprised me, but in a way, it makes sense. Infusion isn't/the bare minimum of gear investment, really doesn't accomplish anything from being pricy not in favor of new players at all, easy source of frustration and leaving the game, which we don't want
-
We are getting free Infusion matters with the battle pass. I have no Idea how this is still an issue for you

7 AntwortenBetween the 3 daily core bounties and the extra month we've been handed to stockpile materials, I don't think this is a problem anymore for existing players. I'm up to 600 cores, 2,000 shards, and around 800 of each material at this point, and I do a TON of infusing and masterworking (more than I should tbh). BUT, not everyone will be an existing player this fall. Bungie is making a big move to get new players in the game with New Light, which I applaud them for. These are the players who are going to get stung by the infusion system.

dont worry , seing the latest trends in this franchise ( and gaming in general) soon you will be able to conveniently buy all needed stuff in the shop for real money
-
Just make infusion work like it did in Year 3 of D1. Why isn't it like that already? Is it not grindy and annoying enough for the neckbeards that play this shit 24/7.
-
You can use anything you want though, cores are a non issue. My Titan is wearing a masterworked Y1 armour set right now.

-
17 AntwortenYeah im down to my last 15,000 shards and 1,300 cores
-
How? I'm sitting on 100+ cores when I had 6 at the start of this season. Infusion is ez pz to do, they just want you to actually have to put in some work to get the exact build you want. Like every other looter shooter/RPG out there

4 AntwortenThis dude clearly diden't play d1 back in the day where one had to speed around with a frecking sparrow, harvesting planetary materials.

What did you call me? One month in the hole.

ARMOR 2.0 will be a disaster!!!!!!!!
-
I have like 200+cores and a lot of other stuff. I never had a problem with the system. Stuff is pretty easy to get if you know the game.
-
Gunsmith bounties. He has 3 daily ones and 2 weeklies. The daily ones literally take 5 minutes. Do that on all 3 characters = 9 cores a day. Enhancement cores really aren’t an issue anymore
