Possibly the worst exotic in the game is the stag, a beautiful looking armor piece, but with a nearly useless exotic perk. There are a few solutions that can be done to improve the exotic.
One is completely remove the rift energy gain and rift drop on death in favor of a new perk. A suggestion of the new perk would be "Being critically wounded activates Nearly Departed, Nearly departed stays active until you are no longer in critical health and buffs damage by the same amount as an empowering rift." In addition to this a second perk could be added to improve it further, the perk Dearly departed would instead of dropping a healing rift on your death, drop an empowering rift on nearby ally death.
This rework would make the exotic feel powerful and feel more in line with the lore tab's sentiment.

1 AntwortenNo worries... They will be re-worked when they sell them to you again in D3 for a third time! Here’s your Last Word, Mida Tool, Ace of Spades, Thorn, Out Break, Whisper ect... ect... for a 3rd time...

Just like bungie, start by firing the armor designers then the pvp team 🤡
-
3 Antwortenbut people who no life this game and got every single god roll possible will be like “HUR DUR POWER CREEP REEEEEEEE”
-
2 AntwortenLike 40% of the exotics need some love. At least 4 from each class. Don’t get me started on Aeon exotics. -__-
-
What pisses me off is how Bungie is seemingly completely ignoring how much this would make the game feel fresh again. Rework the freaking exotics that suck. There are plenty of them, weapons and armor alike, all classes. Sometimes exotics metas aren't defined by a weapon being too good, it is because every other option is complete trash and not even worth considering. It is like trying to tell a person to stop eating the dessert on the table when the only other things to eat are a stick of butter, hard cheese, and burnt bread.

Haven't used any exotic armor except Phoenix Protocol , Need to take a look at a couple of weapons to dumb down (Nerf) Wardcliff Coil and Jontunn , the ubber weapon for folks that cannot aim.

15 AntwortenExotics need balance, some exotics can be stronger then others but their needs to be other options. Bungie needs to nerf nothing and buff a lot of other exotic armours so they have an ACTUAL purpose..... Warlocks have it rough in this regard.... when you think “PvP exotic” what actually comes too mind?? astrocyte and ophidian... THATS IT... I’d like too see around 4 to 5 warlock pieces get complete reworks where others get solid buffs or other attributes. Also on the OEM problems. It’s not that bad to deal with in a 6v6 setting but in a 1v1 or sweats it’s such a broken advantage... if this is such an issue give the other classes exotics that rival one eyed!! Examples: Hunter - when you take damage it marks the target and you receive a massive buff to movement speed and class ability re-Gen. Warlock - when you take damage it marks the target and you receive a massive buff to recovery While refreshing 1/2 your grenade energy. Would really like to use eye of another world but the exotic is booty cheeks

Theyres too many that need reworked. Lol the OEM is literally just the foetracer but buffs health after kill. Foetracer is garbage for pvp. Tracking is broken
-
If only we had...like...a previous Destiny that had a bunch of cool exotics to pick from...
-
4 AntwortenWhat about the titan helmet Eternal Warrior? Ugly and useless.
-
2 AntwortenThe problem is as soon as something becomes good, suddenly it's "OP" Look at OEM. A great exotic but all the scrubs cry about it lmao
-
1 AntwortenIf you want it to actually be used it would need a good perk added like drop rifts while moving or something sweet like that.
-
Make Sweet Business a special weapon in the kinetic slot-- the equivalent to a trace rifle in damage. This would further separate it from the far better Suros Regime and give the kinetic special weapon pool more diversity.
-
There are a lot worse exotics than the stag. I find the infinite rifts very useful with something like. Well of radiance
-
Most exotics are worthless.
-
1 AntwortenI couldn’t finish reading your post after you started knocking one of my favorite exotics, the stag is very powerful in the right hands, you aren’t using it right, if it was any more powerful people would beg it to be nerfed.
-
11 AntwortenThe Stag is great. Get lost.
-
I haven’t taken off my Stomp-EE boots since day one so I have no idea what other pieces of exotic armor feel like.
-
3 AntwortenBUFF SUNSHOTS MAGAZINE!
-
4 AntwortenCerberus +1. It's an auto rifle with virtually no range due to the bullet spread. Utterly useless.
-
Wish the window for getting a "perfect guard" on stronghold was larger. Being niche as they are in that they necessitate swords, they should be a bit more powerful in what they do.
-
1 AntwortenVesper of Radius and Eye of Another World are just as bad
-
1 AntwortenI forgot the Stag was even a thing because of how useless it is. It should simply charge Rift faster at all times and/or quicken the animation when critically injured, perhaps increasing the regen speed too.
-
Maybe wells deal damage over time to enemies that step in them or chain lighting to nearby enemies once a second.
-
A complete exotic rework basically means you may as well make a completely new exotic. Not every exotic wil be strong, that is not the point of exotics. They are supposed to be unique. Suggesting small buffs and all is fine but know that it takes a lot of work to re-do most of the 129 exotics in the game and it will still end up with the majority not being useful simply because they are niche.
-
4 AntwortenAlmost all exotic armors are useless. I use the same 1 or 2 pieces for each character all the time. The other 95% just aren't worth it.
