So far all cross-save information is referencing a move from battle.net to Steam.
[i]"Q: Which Destiny 2 purchases and entitlements transfer over from Battle.net to Steam?
A: The PC migration from Battle.net to Steam will include a one-time transfer of ALL ownership rights that a player already owns (Expansions, Silver, Account, Seasons, etc.)."

My question is: What should console players who have not purchased any Destiny content on Battle.net do?
I left Destiny just before Forsaken launched and only just built a PC. I was considering a return for Shadowkeep, and have written off the Forsaken expansion as an opportunity lost. Do I just wait until the game is live on Steam to cross-save, or can the cross-save process be done prior to Oct 1 so that everything is ready to go on Steam on day 1?

Cross save goes live Aug 21st, you can play the content you own on battle net at that time or wait for steam.
